#Player levels should be shown on the load screen or information sections prominently alongside ranks

I think the thing I've noticed since playing pretty much exclusively classic for the past year is that oftentimes I will load in to a game, see unrated lobbies and have no idea if they are new to the game, new to the mode, or a smurf.

I think showing player level is a potentially good way to counteract the rank based aggression (flame for ranks etc) and instead shed insight into how experienced the person is in playing the game through the levels.

Classic used to show total wins i think, which kinda does the same thing but was removed since it doesnt tell winrate.

would showing lvl be a similar thing?

Does the information shown need to be indicative of winrate?

It shows a level system which is experience based, as all games do - not just total wins.

It has the same effect in a sense yeah, but I'm suggesting this as a way to not have to rely on ranks, particularly for us playing with new players so we can tell it isn't some good 2v2 player who is dabbling in classic
allows us to help/coach/be nicer even

But if it's existed and been removed then I guess it doesn't matter
