Basically, I installed TMUF on my Arch Linux install using Lutris (took a couple of tries, though) and it works great, 200fps :D
Thing is, I need to run it on a separate screen because my laptop display doesn't allow mouse input for the game, but external displays do (?), which is kind of inconvenient since on Windows I don't have this problem and on Windows I play on the laptop screen.
Now I don't know why this happens, but I will say that I have a NVidia GPU and I've heard that it does not play well with Linux, so if that could be a problem, it might just be that.

It works fine for me, im not sure what could be causing that but I installed it on wine and it mouse input works fine on the laptop. Have you checked mouse input in your system settings, might have been set to off for laptop? It might just be something messed up with just how your mouse works.

well a couple of things to clarify:

I'm using Hyprland on Wayland, no X Server
a guy in the kacky server said that he has no problems with i3 on X11
I also tried on Sway, which is basically i3 for Wayland ‍‍

Developments:

mouse actually does work for cam7
it does detect mouse movement but not for buttons (idek anymore) ‍‍

have you tried a different mouse or smthing
idk maybe not compatible

trackmania 2020 is slow af ‍‍
