hey
On my laptop Trackmania2020 crashes very often. I already tried verifying game files, clearing cache, putting graphics down and reinstalling the game, but it still keeps crashing every now and then. I'm very
about why it still keeps crashing. I use Trackmania from Ubisoft Connect.
When the game crashes, i don't get an error message or something similar. Also it doesn't matter where I am, in the menu or in a room, it happened for both already. I hope someone has an idea what to do here before i go to the official support

?hwinfo do u have minimum spec on a laptop?
If you're unsure on what your system specs are, download HWiNFO using the link below and open HWiNFO64.exe.
Additionally, if you were asked to share your specifications - take a screenshot: Click on the System Summary window, press ALT+Print Screen and paste the image into the chat.

does it also have a dedicated gpu, as intels integrated graphics arent supported
is the game using that gpu
ingame
it's probably also best to just force windows to always use it too
hope it helps tho
im testing it now, first doing the ingame setting
changed this now. im gonna play a bit and see if it still crashes after a while
im just gonna write here again if that happens

it was [use default] before so maybe it wasnt using the nvidia one
thx for helping already
@tired light https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000090168/graphics.html try this
Intel
Instructions on how to force apps or games to use dedicated graphics or integrated graphics.
did this now. im gonna write again if it still crashes
aight
ok, i guess i should go to the official support now. it still keeps crashing
did u try this yet?
Does the game produce a crashlog? It would be in Documents\Trackmania immediately after a crash.
And after a game restart crashlogs get moved to Documents\Trackmania\LogCrash
@tired light ^
i dont have a crashlog in the folder. also, in the LogCrash folder there are only two older logs. im gonna wait for the next crash to see if there is a crash file then
Sometimes it doesn’t produce one if the crash isn’t a “graceful” one.
are all ur drivers up to date?
yes, should be
maybe just check tro make sure it isnt that
checked it, are up to date
ok, that just gets rid of one more possible cause
After the game crashed, this time whole computer crashed
first time this happened

https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/
can u run this (like its written in here), and then reinstall the drivers manually?
www.guru3d.com
Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) - Remove AMD/NVIDIA/INTEL Graphics Drivers Cleanly - DDU is a driver removal utility that helps you completely uninstall AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers and packages from your system, leaving no leftovers behind, including registry keys, folders, files, and driver store.

mud masters, false idols iirc
theres no instruction there :uhm: dont know much about these things and dont want to do anything wrong
didn't that one have instructions?
someone else gotta take over, I gotta go to bed soon xdd
it has? im too stupid to find it then
on the website there is only when you can use it and when not and what you best do before using it if i read it correctly
bwoah, found a guide
this is not a crashlog btw
crashlogs are in a subfolder, they don't have "UGC" in their name
that file was created after my game crashed so i thought maybe it has to do something with it. wasnt sure tho
UGCErrorsLog isn't really useful here. It's nothing to do with game crashes.
just thought maybe it has to do something with crash because it got created right after the crash
@tired light do you have openplanet installed?
i honestly dont know
