If Trackmania (2020) doesn't start correctly and complains about server or network errors, follow these steps:

  1. Try restarting the game.
  2. Try fully restarting your system and starting the game again.
  3. Maybe the servers are currently down? You can check #announcements or ask in #tm-chat or #trackmania-2020 if someone else can see the same error.
  4. If none of this helps, you can ask in #1050449637020016811 with the exact error you're seeing - chances are someone knows the problem and can help you.

Otherwise, you can always report the problem to the devs - see ?bugreport.

And if you're on PC...

Try fully restarting Ubisoft Connect and then starting the game again - Ubi Connect can sometimes switch into offline mode when you put your computer into Sleep/Hibernate mode, which means the game won't be able to connect, but there can be other reasons for this too.

Also, antivirus and firewall settings might be impacting your ability to connect to the game's servers. This might require some digging on your end, since it depends on your local setup - but try disabling all of that and check if that helps.

most connection issues are due to Ubisoft Connect YEPge you've done a full system restart I assume?

the error code is one of the new ones, so I don't think anyone knows what exactly it means yet
if nobody here can help you, it's best to report/ask on the Ubisoft Discord directly
