I was playing through old TotDs when I found NotExIIL's record on Yumi_05 (14.Jul.2020). Looks like he was banned awhile back and the record was never removed. It's quite clearly cheated. Give that recognition back to AzYmuthS! (so long as they have not cheated the time -- which the replay doesn't look like it).

It's very unlikely that Nadeo will remove a record on a three years old map

The record was driven on the 8th August 2020 so it was after the totd

You can try to ask Nadeo to remove it but I'm not sure they will bother

Neat. How do I go about that? Here's hoping they might take a look at it at least. It's in the top 90 most earned ATs for the totd. So there might be some attention on it. That's how I found it anyway.

they won't bother, there's quite a few cheated or bugged records from a year or two ago
Nadeo typically is fairly quick about cleaning the current campaigns, recent TOTDs and popular community maps
but in the past they have not bothered with random maps or closed campaigns

The leaderboards in trackmania can also be a bit missleading. you have two versions. The "Official" leaderboard (24h for totd, 3 months for campaigns) and the standard leaderboard. On the official one, you get trophy points, but on the standard one, you don't get anything.

So i guess they don't bother with records driven outside the timeframe of the Official leaderboards.

I remember in 2022 there were a handful of cheated records on the closed leaderboards of an official campaign but they were reported just at the end of the campaign
so when that leaderboard was closed, Nadeo didn't bother removing them anymore
Shrugeg no clue if it's about trophies and the hassle of removing them or just opening a can of worms since there's many more invalid runs that would need to get removed
it doesn't hurt to ask tho YEPge

sidenote at Scarzor, have you considered creating a forum/google forms/something where players could submit maps with cheated records?
