When I was hosting a game on 9 Bit Armies, I had myself and another player select opposing ends to spawn in on different maps, and we end up spawning next to each other.
Happened on the Maps: Against all odds and Shark Tooth Bay.

This sounds similar to an issue I've reported here #commons message any maps with their name non-CAPS have an issue with their spawns. PG expects to possibly already release a fix before the weekend.
