mac is what i’m told you’ll want for creative work

#

however as you’ve noted, macs aren’t made for gaming

#

i’m guessing that nowadays a non-mac laptop would run programs associated with creative work just fine, but other students in ur program will likely have macs

I mean so honest I probably only spend 10 hours a month playing video games so that’s what I’m looking at a Mac but I have also looked at some windows PCs like an Asus Zen book 14 or Acer Swift 14 ai

#

None of which are gaming laptops, but they should be able to do what I need them to do gaming wise as I’m not playing a bunch of AAA titles

If you're going into programming, I'd recommend against Mac. The platform is less open to the tools and makes installation and use more difficult.
