i’m guessing that nowadays a non-mac laptop would run programs associated with creative work just fine, but other students in ur program will likely have macs
I mean so honest I probably only spend 10 hours a month playing video games so that’s what I’m looking at a Mac but I have also looked at some windows PCs like an Asus Zen book 14 or Acer Swift 14 ai
None of which are gaming laptops, but they should be able to do what I need them to do gaming wise as I’m not playing a bunch of AAA titles
mmm i would go with a mac then. as far as getting those 10 hours goes, idk much about handhelds like the steam deck
If you're going into programming, I'd recommend against Mac. The platform is less open to the tools and makes installation and use more difficult.
