It plays any game fine for about 5 minutes then it all locks up and I can't do anything but press the pwr button

air cooling is sufficient unless you are doing crazy stuff

I play all my games on the lowest settings typically even tho I could run them on high

I'm currently just letting it sit atm I kept powering it back on every time it happend trying to figure out what was wrong

How long have you had the GPU? Do you have pets? It might be worth pulling the card and checking to see if it is caked up with dust.

I once had a card do a similar thing and when I pulled the fans off it there was a layer of dust and pet dander that peeled away like dryer lint.

I have 3 dogs they do come in my room, I try to clean my pc minimum once a week but I never unhook the GPU except last time there was an issue I'll check it n see

i fixed it, its user error i did not check for an update to my GPU
