I got my old dell PC setup as a TV system for YT and such

It's so cool!

Like its got a i7-3770, 12GB Ram, and a Radeon HD 5450 that can barely handle YT playback (the HD 7470 I have doesn't have HDMI) but a TV PC is so sick!

I tried Minecraft and it stuggled to get 30FPS LOL

YT has to play at 720P 60 LOL

If I wasn't selling my GTX 780 I'd just throw it in

Is a Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX 3060 a good pair for 1440P gaming and 1080P 60FPS video editing? I don’t care too much for RT bad even if I do in a game DLSS exists. Or should I try to get more money for a newer system? Cause my main intensive task is gonna be video editing. And recording games and playing them on a single PC

Is this to drop into a new system or to upgrade an existing one? My RTX 3060TI (less VRAM than the 3060) does well with the little bit of video editing I tried (1080P 60FPS, it did 4K 60FPS as well but all my video files kept artifacting. Which may be my fault more than the hardware). I know with my TI model 1440P isn't very stable for a lot of modern games.

In that case I'd look around at prices for AM5 socket boards and ddr5 ram. It'd be a bit more expensive but save some headache for any future upgrades, + some of the AM5 ryzens are close to the same price as the higher end AM4 now

It would make a difference, and if you have the option 32GB would be best. Make sure that if you go with AM5 that you look at DDR5 ram, as DDR4 won't be compatible

Do here's what I'm caring about with my computer. Is I'm getting this for a video project. Probably 40+ hours of footage and my computer already lags on a hour and a half recording video editing down. I'm worried about if my computer would actually be able to hand that even if I got something new

radeon 6650 xt and 7600 xt should be between the 3060 and 4060 in terms of performance (closer to 3060 i think)

6700 xt looks to be equal or even a little better than 4060

i know first gen arcs had alot of performance issues. i would avoid tbh... i run an rx 6600xt with a ryzen 9 7900x 32gig ddr5 ram atm, i was 6600xt r7 2700x with 32 gig ram.. both run everything perfect if i was only gaming. as soon as i started to stream i would run into performance issues with the old setup. typical frame drops and what not. im not sure if recording takes the same toll . i currently can run fartnite at 144 frames 1080p on high settings. i cap minecraft at 120 and cod can run at 100+ as far as performance goes. the 7700xt gpu is pretty on par with 4070 series 6600xt would be between 3060/4060 and 3070.

id have to drop game settings way down to stabilize to hold over 60 frames. ray tracing wasnt on the table while streaming . im sure i could handle it now but i havent streamed in a few years. tbh i would recommend holding as much of your old build together as you can then you can separate the load, game on one and record on an other. kinda like strimmer does with stream. you will see better results.

Super early ones aren't gonna me accurate but as you get closer they get more accurate

funny thing about leaks that you may see that are inaccurate is sometimes the info is coming from amd,intel or nvidia

in those cases its them telling their partners false info knowing it will be leaked

I took the GTX 1660 Ti out cause it kept crashing in Fortnite, random slowdowns, crashed when is change my Fortnite resolution, and would report 1080P as my second highest and 4K as my highest output option on windows

since i use my phone alot i wanted a wireless headset and the barracuda x was like 50$ at the time so yeah. i enjoy them they are really comfortable they dont slide off easily and the standard 24 hour battery life that we are use to is nice
