I have what people would generally consider a heavier mouse (razer basilsk v3) and have been looking into potentially getting a new one, specifically a lightweight one because I have heard it is better for aiming. Any info or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same mouse. Right now I got a 39g mouse, I would say that it does indeed help to your aim.
For recommendation, I would recommend the Attack shark R5 ultra. 8000hz, wireless.
