Strafe longer make them aim at you and you aim at them while taking your time to lineup the shot in the head

Maintain your crosshair at head lvl horizontally even at elevations. Have better crosshairplacement it gets really sloppy.
Learn to get first bullet accuracy or hit your burst the first 2-3 shots
Avoid hitting shooting error, counterstrafe or deadzone properly
learn to put a gap between narrow peeking and wide peek so its perfectly in the middle
This will help you angle holding and overall situations being prepared even if you get catched being offguarded
Learn tracing as well
then you have 2 defaults
leave a gap or trace
then pre-aiming
What I mean strafe longer, well one you can continue strafing further to line up your shots. 2nd between your strafing and burst move more to break their aim. And mix up pattern than a-d a-d a-d go back to cover or some shit. Example you first do short strafe then go wider, middle back to short and short, crouch, back to cover type shit.
and not just a-d a-ad a-d yeah it works if you have better crosshairplacement or aim or both
