lots of wasted movements and you're predicting too much. because of this, you're flailing during shoft strafes (see around 47 seconds left in the run) and not committing during long strafes (see around 40 seconds left in the run)

try to focus on reacting to direction changes instead of anticipating them.

I'd switch back to the novice version and get comfortable there. focus on matching your mouse movements to the target's movements as much as possible. sounds obvious but it helps a lot

#

the long strafe at 40 seconds left, your mouse movements are chopped up, likely because you're expecting the bot to stop at any moment

#

it should instead be one continuous motion

#

then you have those wiggling motions during short strafes/direction changes which are throwing you off quite a bit

#

i struggle with the same thing as well -- you need to focus on reducing that and really look at which way the target's moving

#

you can feel it out -- the most important thing is you can actually see which way the target's moving instead of just flailing your crosshair around and hoping to get lucky

#

that's why i'd recommend switching back to easier scens first, to get used to actually seeing the target

#

i go back to novice when I'm warming up for advanced runs, so yeah I'd say so, at least

#

never underestimate the value of going back to basics; trying to brute force difficult scenarios can sometimes lead to forming bad habits which are only good for short term gains

#

other air scenarios would help too, just work on scenarios where you actually see the bot instead of feeling like you're falling behind the entire time

#

yeah it's a big jump

#

just gotta stay patient and focus on doing it right

#

nah that's good, im stubborn so i dont ask for help much, but really it's just another way to improve

go get 'em

#

try looking at master runs if you get stuck again, that's the nice part about aimlab

#

nice, yeah matt is a good starting baseline, his sens range is pretty normal

#

sometimes it's hard to get a gauge though when I'm watching top players, so I mix in some other runs from 1-2 ranks above me to see how different they are from my runs

#

yeah not really on youtube, more of aimlabs leaderboard

#

not perfect vods, but enough for me to compare

#

i can link a vod of me choking master on it if you want a reference

#

in hindsight, the choke wasnt that bad, but definitely couldve closed it out better 😂

#

you can see i struggle with short strafes and predicting as well, but to a lesser degree

#

1st/3rd and 2nd/4th should be the same. might be that switch back from close bots to far bots getting you. see how you're using tension throughout the run and how that might be causing issues between bots 2 and 3

#

4rk has resources for like templates

#

check his bio

#

i forgot which one this is

#

yeah far close far close iirc

#

see if the vdim scens help

#

also tweak your hud so everything is small and in the corner; if part of the problem is choking, then making sure you cant see those stuff might help

#

you can consider doing entry vdim as well; i know you're past that level but no shame in trying it and seeing if it helps

#

you have a better grasp on what you need to improve on, though, so that's good

It didn't break, it's a feature :^)

it triggers sometimes when you say the word "break", just a fun little random thing it does in this server
