Hey ive been playing kovaaks for a while now, but i just can't seem to get very good at tracking (nor the other things for that matter) im not sure if i just have the wrong technique or what im doing wrong. Any advice is deeply appreciated! If its of importantce, i use a somewhat claw grip on op1 8k and Artisan Zero.

im not the best and far from it but what i find helped me improve was focus on precision based tasks (VDIM Wednesday and the playlists in the weakness specific playlists) and focus on being deliberate in your movements

#

and also try to under adjust/undertrack rather then over adjust/track

Matty videos really help me, i'm still shit but i know where i have to progress, like @peak flame said focus on precision and work on your smoothness and speed matching targets.
And try to focus arround the target and not completly on the target

Just my perspective, but in situations where a target is going ADADAD type of movement, you don't actually really need to move the mouse much at all

#

Also, when you speed match a target in general, the position of the crosshair on the target's body, the change of that position is a telegraph of the direction that the target will change directions

#

So say you are tracking a bit to the backside of the target, and the crosshair starts moving toward the frontside, it means the target is gonna strafe backwards, but your mouse is still on the target, so it gives you a telegraph and time to react / adjust accordingly, and you don't need to move your mouse that much to react to the change in direction

#

Like during direction change, your wrist can react and accel to catch up to the target (it doesn't require much wrist movement for this), whereas your arm is just speed matching the target
