It also depends on the background of the person, I was already jade at static when I just started playing( I had 1k hours of osu) and 2k hours of csgo, I got plat pretty easily on clicking cenarios(less than 10 hours of play). You can't compare you progress with other people cuz you don't know their backgrounds in other games/life, I think someone who is just starting with KBM will have a much slower progress curve than someone who has already put thousands of hours in FPS games like cs, overwatch and etc.
