Struggling with bounceshot

I recently hit gold on all benchmarks except for precise. Bounceshot was one of those scenarios that I really, really struggled with, but I made it and now I am fairly consistent on the novice variant.

However, now I am pushing for plat and I am struggling again. It didn't take too much effort to get plat on pasu, but bounceshot is still a pain in the ass for me. I try to go for clicks when the targets are at their apex so it is easier, but I find it really difficult to both read the targets in order to get my timings right and also actually clicking on them, since most of the time they are really far away. I am not sure if there is something I am missing or doing wrong, aside from the obvious skill issue and my occasional aping (I get really frustrated when I struggle to find good timings for my clicks).

instead of trying to track them upwards and downwards you want to shoot when they're moving the least at the arc of their jump, you want your crosshair to almost always be pointed upwards and not chasing bots that go far down

i forget the scenario name but play b180/bounceshot with barriers, it forces you to shoot only when its optimal

look up b180 barrier or bounceshot barrier should find it
