its just a kind of tough task, especially before you learn the task
once you learn the movements it gets easier
try to focus on following it on its long vertical movements more than at the top and bottom
yeah, I feel like I can get quite a good few bursts off but sometimes it does some movements that feels super awkward to react to etc. I have noticed that u gotta track vertically more (kinda got that from the name) but even then it feels like such a high bar to even place
the majority of the score will come from precisely tracking on its long movements as it doesnt divert form its course much and its a matter of precise mouse control over reacting to the bot
yeah
steady track is similar but with some more reactionary movements, you wanna avoid shakiness in your mouse movements
should I try ignoring the movements at the top and bottom and just try to track the vertical parts?
i wouldnt say ignore but i mean it might help with focusing on the vertical aspect more
and then ig tryu and blend them together
also play around with ur sens perhaps i play on very diff sens compared to static tasks
typically much higher than on static
in tracking tasks you should aim to have a sens that allows you to not have to reset your mouse (lifting and recentering)
yeah when I first tried I was legit going off the side of my mousemat lol
me too and i play on a deskpad , its certainly an adjustment, but its a pretty good idea to be comfortable changing sens
yeah I'm also on a deskpad, It's actually been pretty fun trying out different senses. Before I started voltaic I was always of the opinion that changing it was a bad idea
I'm not so sure that's the case now
yeah thats a pretty normal thing for people to think, it honestly doesn't matter
like im more comfortable at specific ranges of sens
but i can do a run of static then adjust +- 10cm and my score wont be trashed
sometimes even pb
its all a matter of precise control of the mouse over muscle memory
nws, just keep at it and you'll naturally learn the task
