I'm still new to the training, currently doing intermediate VDIM but my weakest point is definitely reactive tracking - yes I know its generally the hardest part of aim training but its crazy difficult for me.

Specifically looking for advice on situations like this: https://medal.tv/games/kovaak/clips/id2o6AVsvLd7ffpR7/d1337DR74jUw?invite=cr-MSxlTlAsNTAyNDkzNDks

I'm working on flicking to the target on direction change but how do I cope with the above situation?

Any tips would be appreciated.

you playing a fairly high cm/360? i had the same issue until i changed my cm/360 between 30 - 40cm. its allowed me personally to at least keep up with the target more then not. another thing when you do this, make sure ur focusing on the target to the best of your ability otherwise you won't be able to keep up with the target.

In my mind I say left if it goes left and if it switches then I think right and the reason I do this is because it helps me focus on the bot movement without going into autopilot and to be fair I’m gm on smoothbot so my smoothness and target speed matching isn’t an issue it’s just when I need to warm up it’s not necessarily my aim but more of just getting in the rythm of ok react don’t predict plus I stay focused for the whole scenario so I don’t gotta play it 1,000 times if that’s not helping I also just think ok it’s moving at the same speed at all times I just gotta react to the change in movement not the speed if u cant match the speed play an easier variation like it being slower but thinner

i just realized ur new to training just so u know this would be one of the harder scenarios and def not for beginners but if u wanna get better at reactive u could play something a little easier to hit but still fast

#

and for scenarios like this u dont wanna flick u wanna match the speed and be as smooth as possible

#

KovaaKsBunnyhoppingSkyblueCard i use this playlist for tracking since its focused on reactive smoothness and target reading along with making u focus on technique

ideally u wanna not flick but i have to constantly reset my mouse so if u see me jitter or flick thats why

#

the next is the same thing but harder and same rules apply react dont predict the movement and try to be as smooth as possible and remember u just have to match the speed since it doesnt speed up or slow down u just have to react to change and finally yes i play with no sound and u could try that but its really hard since u wont have the sound to help u know if ur hitting the target and u dont have to copy other peoples sens but there are better sens ranges for certain scenarios and if ur curious i play on 800 dpi and 4 on ow2 so that translates to 43 cm

Thanks for the tips, I've been working on reactive and getting more consistent with it but you made some good points there that I'll take on @glass tree
