this is my first day of my aim training journey and i feel like i did incredibly super bad, what should i do moving forward after having done the benchmark? i solo queued myself to plat in val but i didnt realise just how bad my aim was. also i noticed that my shoulder and oddly my pinky hurt quite a bit(pinky hurts a lot) while doing the benchmark. is that concerning and how would i fix that

How to improve: look for mistakes and fix them (read #resources also). Pinky issue might be that you are gripping your mouse too hard - relax. Shoulder - bad posture?

I have been playing cs for the past 2 years, I started aim training a month ago. I began at halfway between bronze and iron. After consistent training I am now in plat! It's ok that your aim might 'suck' just keep it up! (Trust me I still have imposter syndrome so you're not alone)

Its only your first say of aim training. Good news is your improvement will skyrocket and you will feel very courageous. To improve look up the techniques to each category of aim. This is the vid i used to learn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgJZh74moPE

as far as your pinky and arm. make sure you are not putting too much pressure into gripping the mouse. I believe the arm is not used to the movements and pressure and in my case i still get arm pressure/pain but just take like a 1-2 minute cooldown break

thank you for the tips, ill watch the videos and some guides from #resources and update you guys tomorrow on any progress, im aiming to do the benchmark every single day

as for the pinky, i think it may be a combination of bad grip, me putting to much pressure on it and too small of a mouse, im on a g203 and using just my fingertips to grip

too small of mouse

IMO there's no such thing as a mouse too small (unless preference) (source: using keychron m4 with hand size 20.5x10.5, and I prefer it over even hsk plus)

Just like me in the first day I did aim training
