Any advice for going about improving game sense without just investing a gorillion hours? Talking abt Overwatch particularly. I’m currently diamond 3 tank and wanna see about hitting gm on the new tank this season but i feel like im struggling to see what im doing wrong. Mechanically i think im up to snuff but i find myself making more mistakes than i’d like in actual games, any advice appreciated!

- Watch your own vods and catch your mistakes.
- Watch a pro gameplay and learn from him.
I dont completely know current ov meta, but from what I know playing only one character might make it harder for u to climb (i might be wrong, maybe this new character is all u need)
Also, ill give u an example: - if theres a player that has s tier mechanics but poor gamesense, he still will be at higher ranks, but it might be hard for him to get to the top, because there everyone knows how to more or less counter good mechanics, with common game sense, and it might not be as easy as it was
- if theres a player with poor mechanics, but great game sense, especially if said player plays a not that much mechanically dependant character, then this player will still be able to reach higher ranks, but at the top, people have both mechanics and gamesense at a crazy level so it might be harder for him to reach that top rank (but a great game sense, might have a higher potential, than great mechanics, depending on which character u play, like for example if u would play widow, its rather great mechanics that will help u more).
Imo, the best way to improve your gamesense is just playing the game and being aware about your mistakes, trying to not make them again (and the two things i mentioned in the beginning).
As i said, i am not 100% aware of current ov meta, i played the game not that long ago at a decent level, but thats not my top game, everything i said here is mostly from my valorant experience, so a bit different games, so sorry if i made some game-knowledge mistakes.
