Hello, I'm a diamond player, and have recently been focusing on doing a routine before playing, which includes

  1. Aimlabs (20mins)
  2. Range (15-20mins)
  3. 2-3 DMs

Before starting the routine, I had already noticed with my general warmup experience that when I did aimlabs before playing my rankeds, I performed worst than I would usually do without doing aimlabs. However, I still gave it a try for about a week (doing the aimlabs). And this just reconfirmed me what I thought, i kept on playing my rankeds and underperforming in most of them.

Has this happened to anyone too? And why may it be the case?

40-45min warm-up can be quite intense. You should either just play DM as warmup or only the AL playlist.

Then take a short break.

You underperforming can also be related to overthinking, or being non-aim related (movement, crosshair placement, positioning)

i recommend 10 min aimlab + 1 or 2 dm and thats it before comp

the second dm is dependant if u feel good in the first dm or no
