gym
i need 1 too
for yourself
you benders
stop caring about vrt
it doesnt matter
just look after urself
VRT is dircetly linked to skill
1:!
1:1
ready for this ingenious link?
I have lower VRT
than my friends that are worse at aiming
if you eat healthy (you’re allowed things in moderation too, unhealthy to suppress cravings), do some exercise and get your nutrients and still feel shit then get a blood test to be sure it isn’t a problem
(And sleep well/water)
My lunch is horrible, I don't eat at all well
i only eat breakfast and dinner like space them out
if your diet is terrible and you can’t fix it easily then a multivitamin doesn’t hurt, they don’t harm you but can help bad diets
same
and horrible
@shy owl Alright, here's the deal
possible deficiency? Probably doctor time rather than asking us
I mean
that's what I felt
all I want is to be skinny to do the sex with the girls
and not feeling hungry or losing weight by not eating is probably an issue
lmao
Some people are naturally uninclined to eat. However, the normal human condition is a consistent appetite. Through this chat box, there is only so much I can do. However, you are supposed to be able to eat on a regular basis, and feel the need to do so on a regular basis. Keep in mind that not eating does not correlate with skinniness, as your body may very well retain fat to conserve that energy. The absolute best course of action is to seek help from someone who can be more hands on and explore potential causes, like stress, eating disorders, or god forbid some form of disease
i mean you can deal loads of 200s
So go see a professional
ok
tldr stuff ur self
@violet swan So an eating plan to stay healthy? That's it, yeah?
Zip needs a reverse health tag
I am very sedentary and I feel bad, I have to change that
Just see a professional for your condition, this could be a symptom for many things, or nothing at all. Can't decide from this chat room
ye doc crosses off anything serious that’s out of your control
No not you v1xen
just a doc
Zip needs a really cute tag
Sari, so I better see a nutritionist and let him send me a routine?
@violet swan That is one of many important things to do, is have at least a semi-active lifestyle. For your eating, stay away from processed foods too much, don't indulge in a fatty meal like a big mac too often, preferably in weekly intervals at least. Try to balance out your meals, include protein, carbs, and fats. If you want an actual divided routine for YOUR goals, then yes see a nutritionist
here is your routine
TILE FRENZY 10 runs
ascended tracking 5 runs
I'm gonna send a picture with a selection of foods that accommodate the need for different macronutrients
Guys
@arctic moat This could be useful to pin
ill pin it im sini
Do it Hamster, no balls
🙂
🙂
jk love you zip
Oh hamster is the egirl she was referring herself to?
That makes sense
Was confused
@loud plover eh that's not really a good pin
like for instance pork
isn't even healthy
That's not entirely true, sir
yes it is
The way meat is prepared matters when viewing its nutritional value
no it literally is unhealthy no matter how you prepare pork
o
While pork isn't as healthy as say, grilled chicken, it can be prepared similarly in ways that provide a good protein content, without retaining the fatty juices within it
It's not the best source, but there are multiple others in that screenshot
It would be a shame for it all to go to waste because of one item
I can blur it out if needs be
eh
Anyone who's on plant based diet? Experiences?
Satiating, nutrient dense with vitamins and proteins
I'll try to talk to a nutritionist as fast as I can
The rest is a guideline for the most common source of the three main macronutrients. Using them must come with caution, as it is an obvious truth that just because chicken is on that list, doesn't mean deep frying it and adding a metric ton of ketchup over it is healthy
you don’t need a nutritionist you said yourself your diet is dogshit, there’s a middle ground between god tier clean athlete level and your current diet
It's not even because of the fat
but I don't know which one to use
Cholesterol?
I need someone to tell me
you don’t use anything you just eat less shit and more good
This is one of the many articles
dietary cholesterol doesn’t affect your body’s significantly
ssssooooooooooooooooooooo
And this is only ONE
there is way more evidence
I wanted a complete routine, with breakfast, lunch and everything
I don’t live by set meals or strict diets cause that’s boring and food should be more than that unless you’re an elite athlete or have goals like that
Wouldn't hurt to visit a nutritionist actually vixen, helps you get an idea of what you should eat
And yeah don't make it strict
A diet should be permanent not temporary
Yea
people forgetting what moderation is
A lifestyle, that accommodates your desires, while simultaneously placing you within appropriate limits
A visit is good
As I mentioned earlier
Everything in moderation is fine. A good eating lifestyle allows you to enjoy what you eat without overindulging.
I am wanting a healthy life because I am going to the gym and as I am very weak, I need a better diet
I eat cookies non-stop, I don't have time to eat properly, excluding breakfast and lunch
How it is?
@arctic moat I do not know enough about these studies to say what is true and what isn't. And from what I've read, this study itself states that the findings are heavily related with pork products that are prepared incorrectly, or have some sort of infection. I'd say that in the cause of infected, unsafe, or unmoderated meat, these results may be applicable to multiple kinds of red meat
i had more energy felt less hungry etc
my mum had to go on a diet where she basically couldnt eat anything
So eating these things is advisable to happen at your own discretion, since it seems, just like sushi, if pork is prepared or bought unreliably, then the chances of something bad happening are very much present
that's bad
it was ok
she still body build on basically no protein outside of roasted nuts
she actually had to
@calm sleet great, thanks for the info, I'm on this diet for like 2 months and feel the same.
soak them in some shit so they didnt have bacteria in them
and fungi
because shes allergic to them
ROFL
I've heard the same thing from many, actually. Javale McGee, a pro basketball player for the LA lakers, turned vegan, and he reported feeling much more energetic, and stronger
bit gay
brb 🙂
Sure thing, v1x
i hate health nerds
gg
why did you hate health nerds
i get legit 110s sometimes
Probs joking
o
Oh wow
wonder when ill get some legit 90s
that's a joke
Do you regularly do reaction time tests?
no
weekly at most
because other wise ur just spamming it and not getting a proper measure
Crazy, 160 - 110/120
the post i made on twitter wasnt like
a top time or anything
it was just
the only run i recorded that day
theres no point recording a peak since you wont be able to actively replicate that reaction in game
and ur just cheating urself
my reaction time is 200-230 :((
shame
it's bad
you can get that to like
180 with just eating well
and like
144hz
using a mouse with normal latency
like a logitech 2017+ or XM1
By starting aim training, my VRT dropped pretty significantly. And of course, measuring peaks, as opposed to your general performance curve, is not a good representative of where you actually stand
Just checked your twitter
Hamsterfeet
Quality handle
HAHAHHAHAHAHHA
I'm agreeing with you
what
lmao
Hamstewfeets uwu
UwU
@calm sleet playing fast strafe scenarios improve reaction time overtime what do you think?
itll improve reactivity
I think so
It's fast strafe
but ye i think it would help slightly
Like a reactive
yes
With readjustments
This comes along with the reaction time
not rly
mana is insane reactivity
but hes like
180ms
or smthn
horns is
air nut
but hes like
928374ms
vrt
What's the difference?
quite a bit
Reactivity is constant
I definitely see where you're coming from, Hamster. So how could we define reactivity as opposed to VRT?
Because think, if you have the reaction to make the readjustment, it depends on your reactivity
dno do i look like im autistic enough to explain that
Reaction time is how fast you react to a singular event
yes
^
Reading bots movement is not 100% reactivity
Nevermind, then
thanks for the input olikatt
Nobody said it's 100% reactivity lol
sini ur so aggy
aggy?
Right, Sini, got you
u sure
ur way more harsh than u used to be
its cute
but still
im good
enjoying being a bad aimer
just being more blunt ig
ye its a better look
aim training is a bit boring anyway
no point me going for GM now
ye sini
aaaaaaa
exactly
i'm back
nice
nice
haha he would be if we didn't buff but then again we would've had like 10
mana is a boomer
it shows like
@violet swan Is there anything else you need with regard to your eating?
Hum
the goal posts
Let me see
ye true
how many times is it good to eat a day?
ascended kind of means that they were far ahead of their time
Some ranks should be fixed (somewhat) then there should be Ascended and like top 10 constantly buffed
breakfast, lunch
ye
3 full meals as a minimum
That's why I think top 10 will solve that
So you have a bunch of fixed ranks
So you can chill
And for people who want to compete to the top
but kovaaks isnt the play
Best of luck, Hamster. Sorry to hear that
true
Mental stuff is tough
Not pity at all, that shit's wack
Yeah
low vrt is a sign of a healthy mind :D
Well I'm fucking depressed then
so idk why serious is 140ms
lemme take one
got 116 first click then accidentrally preclicked a 68
sad
:/
it was gonna be good
is there anyone who uses any type of nootropics?
no
I think that shit is bs
what about blueberries and green tea
Blueberries we talked about earlier
I mean
green tea and blueberries nice
caffeine works
I only use caffeine + l-theanine that is basically green tea
ye
Sleep is probably more important than any of this
it is
Regular, sufficient sleep, outweighs supplementation
is 70mg small dose?
yea
Diminishing returns is a thing so
yes
yes olikatt
that would be fine
is just a cup of black coffee
cuz what most people do is add sugar and milk
Gets dangerous around 250-700 mg a day
thanks. if I have tolerance I'll just cycle
So you're fine
yeah that would be fine
I had black coffee for a few months every morning
I personally prefer avoiding caffeine unless it's from black tea
Didn't really feel much of a difference with or without it
I hate having energy spikes
preworkout for lifting got me into stupid amounts of daily caffeine
Rather eat / drink consistently
it's a hard habit to break
@arctic moat that's why you need to pair with L-Theanine
GG @tender flint, you just advanced to level 6 !
Mhm
i do tests on 0mg caffeine if i can help it
Or pair with nothing at all
I was doing stupid amounts at one point
sometimes i have caffeine but i dont notice a difference
feels bad man
ye try it
@calm sleet in vrt me neither, just focus boost and mood
Usually getting into that whole loop gets people into this whole world of supplements. It sucks, because so much uncertainty, with coaches trying to shove products up your rear
that's sound good
I was offered steroids at this one gym
I used to lift to be a better hockey player but a torn MCL put a stop to that
..
@loud plover have you ever used creatine?
I've been told about it
Seems to be the most supported one, with little to no noticeably bad side effects
all creatine really does is cause your muscles to hold more water
so they fill up a bit like a balloon
also helps endurance
I heard it's really safe
I've had some nutritionists praise it, some advise to just avoid supplements all together, but haven't heard of anyone genuinely speaking too high or too low of it
so long term it may be hard on kidneys
yeah and the water weight is a common thing
Which makes sense, if it's water-soluble
I played basketball professionally for my national team, but a plethora of ankle injuries fucked that up. One day, on a chasedown fast break, I almost hit my head on the backboard going for a block, forward momentum had me fallen down on that same ankle. Foot was black the next day. Couldn't play for a year
😦
So I started bodyweight calisthenics and weight lifting. Slowly got back into running as the proprioception in my foot got better. Tried crossfit too, but hated it
yeah
Felt like I was gonna lose my knees any second
I moved into just training for strength after hockey to get active again
How long has it been since?
I'm 25 and I got injured at 18
at 19-21 I just sat in my room eating pizza and playing counterstrike
so I gained 70lbs of fat

Happens, mate. To the best of us
All that matters is you acknowledged that rut and got yourself out of it
yeah
I've mostly cleaned up my diet and started doing cardio again, now I gotta fix my sleeping
ty
Sleeping was a rough one to fix for me
Turns out, all it needed was a bit of discipline and time management
As do most things in life that pay off
yep
got out apex game
but let me do
vrt
long day of school
pot noodle to eat
oh and spag
I have cardio set now
But I need to put serious work into srms
Arms
That aren't biceps
after this game
wish i didnt get distracted so i could show you a good score zz
It's alright
No reason why it should
Anyone get really blue veins after
Lifting
Maybe it's just because I'm world's whitest human
I need help, like a month ago i had 139ms human bechmark and 141ms on the german app. Now i have around 170ms. What happend?
Bad sleep
Poor diet
@violet swan
It doesn't hurt
It's just blue
I think because blood is pumping
@nimble cipher what should i eat please?
@plain solstice I mean, it's hard to determine what changed. You know this best. What has changed since your VRT was 140?
Also like zic said, sleep is important
i sleep around 7hours
Yea it's More prominent sari
and some good food?
For sure
But then again, if you just hit 139 once, that's different. Your consistent VRT curve matters more than what your peak is. You can slowly improve it
All of a sudden everyone is 140ms vrt
I think cbd make my vrt lower
Less thoughts = fast click
Make it better
Average
More recently it's 180
Most ppl are the same and just lie about it
/90
I just need to stop staying up on school nights
With more
In game eco
Exp
Vrt lower
You could easily peak around 150
But it’s still
Not a big deal at all
I feel like vrt is something I should really improve in though
Because I'm a goalkeeper
And that makes huge difference
Up close
You are right about not thinking
I get that in soccer too
My best performances
Are when I'm 100% focused on the game
But that's hard for me
Yeah, kind of like the flow state that's frequently talked about here
My Human Benchmark VRT would have been higher than 175 had I been thinking hard
I got 179
On 40 trys
No misclicks
But a few messups
From not paying attention
Would've been more like 177
But I get like 5 runs in a row where I get all under 165
Then I mess up
Ok
but around the 2 hour mark my eyes sort of lose focus
i do have adhd so i think that might effect my focus
but my eyes blur out sometimes and everything isnt as clear
I'm on prozac as well, that could be the cause? "One of the most common eye-related side effects of antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications is blurred vision. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like Zoloft, Prozac, Lexapro, etc. directly affect the pupil and ciliary muscle function of the eye and can make it difficult to focus on near objects" <---found that
Let’s see how well they work @tender flint
@shy owl Great :) how many grams will u take? I only saw big differences with 3 capsules (1410 mg).
I took one tonight, planning on taking 3 or 4 tomorrow
What is it supposed to help with?
Blueberries should help with vrt
got any studies?
No direct causation but
yeah personal experiences / placebo ain’t reliable, studies are
lolw!
get on with your day, I’ll get on with mine
Reason: Bad word usage
:(
what's ur ms
and how many blueberries have you had
i bet it's worse than mine and i bet you've had less blueberries than me
I'm waiting for you to ask me how many blueberries i've had

why exactly did this escalate?
idk but looks like study to me ... so no reson to throw accusations around and be an ass to each other right?
@limber nacelle I appreciate the link to another study, I never denied they don’t provide a benefit either, I found studies myself too, just being stubborn and rude about “works for me, I am fact” is immature
let’s leave that there now
🤓
Had such a rough pe class and my legs feeling really stiff. Any ideas how to recover?
what’s a good protein shake to drink after sports practice
also i was kinda reading on nootropics
would drinking coffee change anything?
Stretch @oak rapids
Any advice on kicking my heroin habit??
Eating blueberries decrease Reaction Time in kids, could there be the same or lesser results in adults?
starting to see that maybe the health channel isn't worth reading every time there is a new post
@marble kayak i read an article and blueberries wouldn’t really help an adult with their matured brain
but it does help prevent asthma : )
mainly physical things help with adult reaction time
Wouldn't you want to decrease your reaction time
maybe increased handicap for stronger training stimulus
dude you get the idea
whats everyones obsession with VRT??
idk
i’m slow as fuck
like 230 ms
but if you just kill people you don’t have to worry about it
Blueberries are healthy, and may help with those things as well, but it's not really important enough to discuss when it comes to health
Yeah I edited the post. Meant to say decrease my bad 😋
Like the whole VRT-discussion doesn't belong in this channel
Fair enough
i have a health question
Go ahead
i play with the Alienware AW-18H
and i have it at the lowest position tilted up as much as possible
and i sit with good posture
like back straight feet parallel to the ground
but i lean in to my monitor
is that bad?
i’m so used to it i feel like it would be impossible to change
HAHA
yea, i use to lean into my monitor as well
but i just moved it closer towards me so i can sit straight
It's just a bad habit, you can get rid of it so long as your conscious of it
ye, being conscious of having your shoulders straight will help with having good back posture as well
okay i can try working on it
if you hunch your shoulders, chances are you are going to lean foward
it’s just having my monitor flat in front of me feels weird
i don’t hunch
i always move my shoulders back so when i rest them they stay straight
that picture is really good actually
I have f tier posture gaming, and S tier posture sitting normally
^
okay i’ll try that next time i’m gaming
should also note, everything about posture while being seated, should also be practiced while walking
eventually it will become second nature
I've had a theory
When i've done "Speed training" in the past, its always been my tricep that has hurt the most from doing large angle training on shit like 100cm
If i was to do tricep workouts at the gym, would that have an effect on my ingame speed?
or am i pepega
That dude's goin' in.

igor live action go brazy 🤪

Does anyone have good VRT food ?
honestly i dont have one but being happy goes a long way 😄
pls stop asking about VRT
^
There's much more important things in aiming. The difference is normally never noticeable. Train reactivity, it's much more worth it
Why don't I feel chest when I do chest excercise
Even Push-ups
With good form
And pec flys

Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW
You’ve tried everything to grow a big, ripped muscular chest but nothing seems to be working. In this video, I’m going to show you how to fix a chest ...
This goes through the basics of your form and setup for chest workouts
Make sure your shoulderblades are retracted, when you do pec fly's you may sometimes lose the retraction and push your shoulders outwards, making them handle most of the load. Try to actively contract your chest, and keep everything stable, with your scapula retracted at all times
Kick your ego out the door, and reduce the weight until you are able to establish a mind-muscle connection, where you move slow and feel it contract all throughout
Use one arm at a time if it helps
Thanks
i asked this question before i think but o forgot the answer i sit cross legged when playing is that bad
im just so used to it
what type of chair do you have?
just a normal office chair
yea your fine
No, it’s not fine! However I also need to get over this habit in my office routine. Crossing the legs can put pressure on the peroneal nerve at the back of your knee, which supplies sensation to the lower legs and feet. Over a period of time by si...
just don’t do it for super long
your welcome
Would it be bad to consume like a protein shake or something on a rest day or before workout?
Why not
Nothing wrong with that
1.2-1.7 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day, or 0.5 to 0.8 grams per pound of body weight
that's a general guideline
do you guys recommend cold showers?
Yes
Just try it for a month or so! I did it for half a year straight every morning. Now I don’t do it everyday but I use it as a tool when I feel like I need it
Waking up
shut up been
there are multiple health benefits which reach from a positiv impact on bloodpressure over normalization of stress levels and reduction of inflammation to really positive psychological impacts

ill try it tomorrow 🙂
@violet swan best way is not to go cold Turkey
alright i have mine scolding right now cause im a weirdo, so ill do like regular warm tomorrow, then less and less
I'd go straight into a cold shower.
Tried it for a week, was pretty nice after like 30 seconds.
anyone got any tips on how to stop feeling really tired on 9+ hours of sleep
cold shower
^
cold showerrr
@violet swan Try to find out the source
Are you drinking enough water, eating plenty of nutritious food and fruits?
Are you getting enough sleep during the whole week?
Poor sleep carries over to the next few days
Are you not oversleeping? If you sleep too much or wake during sleep cycle you will wake up groggy
This website https://sleepyti.me can be helpful to sleep just enough to wake after a sleep cycle
Sleepyti.me bedtime calculator helps you wake up refreshed by finding the best time to go to sleep.
could probably eat better, drinking enough water but my schedule usually changes from waking up at 5:45 for school to waking up at like 10:30 on weekends
Try to work on those things it should help, otherwise I can recommend asking your doctor
u think that a significant sleep schedule change would mess anything up?
GG @violet swan, you just advanced to level 1 !
Hmm there's a big gap there between regular days and weekends that's for sure
but do you get the same amount of sleep
I probably get an hour more on weekends now that I think about it
nah 9 is weekends I'm pretty sure I'm falling asleep around 9:45 on weekdays and waking up at 5:45
definitely feel like I need more than 8 hours to function well
but I feel similar on weekends
Hmm typically 8/9 should be enough, but it depends on the age and on the person
I'm pretty sure I need more sleep than average
How long have you had this schedule for?
pretty much for 9 years
Have you tried napping?
not really but i don't really have an easy time falling asleep in the afternoon
only time I feel like I could is in the middle of school
You could visit a doctor (they will point you to an expert), they will help you figure it out by letting you do experiments
You could be diagnosed with a sleep disorder for instance, and you'd never know
Doesn't seem much out of the ordinary though
yeah I'll go to one soon but I definitely don't think it's that severe
No worries, you can always try the above things experiment yourself
I'm not sure if they charge money for it
Or if that'd be expensive
Like you can make a sleep diary
To kind of make a log of your sleep pattern
gonna see what happens if I barely change my schedule for the weekend except for more sleep and I'll take a cold shower and try and get more sunlight
any tips on keeping the motivation to sleep 8 hours
cant seem to be able to keep it up more than a week at a time
Try to have a reason to wake-up every time if that makes any sense
Like plan what you want to do
I know a morning routine helps a lot with that
I need to motivate myself to get a good morning routine cuz all I want to do is lay on my bed
GG @violet swan, you just advanced to level 2 !
I just wake up when Im 30 mins from school starting
even if I was really motivated to do something the night
my commute to school is an hour and a half :/
I'd be waking up at 4 to do that no
lol parents wake up at 3:30 so idk
not really bothered by it tho cuz it gives me access to better schools
Get your favorite cup of tea for instance every morning
I like green tea a lot but I usually end up drinking it in the afternoon
I remember I always had green tea coconut flavour every morning, and looked forward to having it when waking up
Knowing it would boost my energy as well
I always tend to be tired during school and not after
same
well I mean I want to fall asleep during school and after school I just feel fatigued
I feel fatigued only in school
to the point where I don't really feel like practicing on fn because I'm too slow
never when I get home
lucky
its all relieved when I sit on my pc
Yeah school/work can be mentally draining
Also, how to stop dry throat when I wake up
It forces me to drink water a lot
But its not nice
drink more
I drink like 4 x 500 ml a day
that is not a lot iirc
idk how to do mL to gallons
half a gallon to a gallon is considered good enough for most people
4 * 500 mL is pretty good
~ 0.528 US liquid gallons
@frank dragon I have dry throat when I wake up as well
Drinking lukewarm water feels like shit on that first sip when you wake up with one, but if you drink very cold water, it feels wonderful
Also feeling fatigued, I normally change something about my routine. Even if it's something minor like doing an activity at a different time than usual, or giving myself a break
I would wake up super early if I knew I had motivational quotes from @arctic moat to look forward to
Haha
@frank dragon increase airflow in your room during night. Open a window in your or next to your room, while having the door open, and make sure your radiator/ heater is off.
Take a good sip of water before bed.
I wake up needing to pee
not sure if this belongs here but how do I stay on task when doing homework
Put distractions away.
Calm yourself.
Get your energy out. Jump around a little, move around.
Go into it with the thought of finishing it, not just starting it.
Take a pause when u get impatient. Stand up, drink something, clear your mind and get back to it.
@idle cairn pretty much exactly what he said ^, maybe give yourself an incentive to finish your homework like a snack or candy for afterwards etc
yeah he gives pretty good advice
i'd also recommend listening to some sort of chill music or have some background white noise playing
not all people like that kind of stuff but i (unironically) find that lofi beats to relax / study to is actually really good for my concentration
Two more things to add:
1- Parkinson's Law: Work expands to fill the time allotted for its completion Which means if you give yourself five hours to complete a task rather than two, it will take you the full five hours to do it. But if you give yourself two hours, you may feel more efficient. Even if you go a little over two hours, it still won't be anywhere near five
2- Optimize breaks: Do the things you have to do everyday as a break from work. If you're getting fatigued from doing work, then get off it and do something like dishes, laundry, exercise, or a bit of aim training (don't get too carried away). You can try switching tasks, as well. If you're working on a research paper and your rate of progress is slowing down, you can stop and work on another task you have. This keeps things more interesting
Is there any way to reduce fatigue? (In right arm/wrist) and in general
Do you go to the gym?
No
Stretch after each gaming session. Check the two links pinned in this channel about wrists/posture.
Posture is also important, make sure your desk isn't too high or low so that you're shrugging your shoulders up too much or having to adapt an otherwise abnormal position for your hand to reach the desk
If you feel any sharp pains, stop immediately. Take a break for a few days
I wish I knew the most optimal disk height and arm length and Posture
Your sleep affects the recovery of your muscles as well. Sleeping for 8-9 hours (relatively variable between individuals) will maximize your body's capability to recover
It's pinned in the channel
Yea or just in a super cramped fucked position
Like 5 fingers is so bad for mice
It’s a 4 finger device
Like fak

I can’t feel my pinkie sorta
Like not realalt I mean it gets so Hurting to point of numb sometimes
Cuz idk what to do with it
I had this exact same issue. I had a very uncomfortable grip, because I was trying to claw too hard, and my mm710 is low and small. My thumb and pinkie would always cramp up. As long as you don't hard palm your mouse, don't force anything. Grab it in a way that feel comfortable in the long run, even if you're not used to the feeling of aiming with it just yet
I had an overly-arched claw grip, and I changed to a more relaxed claw/fingertip hybrid
Went from numbing pain every session to a smooth, consistent, painless feeling throughout
Do u recommend L-the anine and fish oil
Not together
Both l-theanine and fish oil have blood pressure lowering properties. If you take them both, your blood pressure may drop too much. Same for L-theanine and caffeine. You'll either have to take it in reduced doses, or pick one over the other if you're going a higher dose
L-theanine is normally a good way to boost focus and "wakeful relaxation", reduce anxiety and stress, and even get better sleep, according to two separate articles on psychologytoday and healthline.com. However, like any other supplement, it's important to take in appropriate dosages. Consult a physician always before making any chances to your supplemental routine
Research has not found any significant side effects, unless you're pregnant, hypotensive, or a child. There's more detail in this article if you'd like to read about it. However, again, consult a professional
Is there enough L-Theanine in green tea to feel the increased boost and focus?
Black tea is a better source
A normal cup of black tea contains ~ 3x the amount of L-theanine vs a typical cup of green tea
kk thx, but theres also more caffeine or?
Still much less than coffee
However, it also depends on the volume of the cup. I would say not enough, as most articles suggest that the effects on focus, sleep, anxiety, etc... happen anywhere from 100-400 mg depending on the intended use.
fck
It's funny, because another study by Boros et. al showed that "The mean L-theanine content of white, green, oolong, and black teas were 6.26, 6.56, 6.09, and 5.13 mg/g, respectively"
The sources seem to agree that both green and black are good sources
All of a sudden it seems the research is favouring green tea
"Green tea contains a much higher concentration of theanine than other teas. A heavy green tea drinker (six to eight cups daily) will ingest between 200 to 400 milligrams of L-theanine daily."
Im thinking about to switch to green tea, because coffee is making me rage more
Yes. The caffeine content in green tea is much less
Actually, some research indicates that the L-theanine content in green tea offsets the caffeine stimulation
Since theanine and caffeine have somewhat opposing functions
For instance, Theanine increases GABA (Gamma Alphabutyric acid) a neurotransmitter that has calming effects, while caffeine decreases it
ok thanks for your help, you seem to be an expert on this topic, trying green tea now for some days
How to know best height for desk?

How much sugar in a day should I try to limit myself to
20-30 grams i'm guessing is a right amount
probably more and you can just burn them off
not that much compared to how much there is in not so healthy food
And natural sugar from whole fruits doesn't count towards that total
@cursive hemlock check out "matcha" tea, its like a superior green tea
matcha tea is insane
What's that?
@loud plover Basically a green tea, it's just produced a bit different than normal green teas.
@hollow spade your mouse is not for you it seems. Too small or large
I had pinky cramps when fingertipping a mouse too large for my hands
60% of the widest part of your hand or ring to index finger is optimal width
I took L-Theanine hopefully it helps with my hyperactivity/shakes
L-theanine combined with coffee has reaction time boosting effects
I took it with my Adderall which my Adderall froesny do anything I don’t think
Addy
Lol, it has no effect on me at all but make me sweat and high heart rate
Anyways. Check Rocket Jump Ninja out to find a better mouse for you
Pinky cramps are big bruh moment
What’s point of pinkie
What size hands u got
Should I get it surgically removed
4 fingers is optimal for a mouse
Not 5
7.5inches up and down
Inches
GG @tulip perch, you just advanced to level 6 !
Mate, be careful with l-theanine and coffee
7.5 * 2.2 = 16.7ish
Don't intake too much of anything
That's small
1 cup of each per day is recommended and max I would ever consume
I take other things
Blueberrys Omega 3 and Zeaxanthin
Also, the mouse doesn't have to be the issue. Like I said, if you had read, I had cramps using my mouse with a specific grip, and after changing it, the cramps completely and permanently disappeared
On the same exact mouse
Grip changes recommended mouse size
Now it feels great, so I'd advise looking into that before changing the mouse, because I was very close to
Palm allows for bigger mouses
Ft needs small ones
But yea. Try changing ur grip before
Of course, and palm is normally not advisable, but we know all about that
@hollow spade What kind of question is that, also are you prescribed Adderall?
@tulip perch what's your daily zeaxanthin intake? it comes with lutein right? experiences with it?
SariToday at 4:33 PM
And natural sugar from whole fruits doesn't count towards that total
nice meme
@arctic moat yes for my adhd, 15mg XR once a day
Fair enough
It doesn’t do anything tho
I’m so confused about the fact that ppl say they got a lower audio RT than visual
When I have a muuuch higher audio RT
@gleaming aspen Natural sugar from whole fruits is absorbed more slowly in the body due to the fiber presence within them. No sudden spikes in insulin or rapid accumulation of sugar in the blood means it's not detrimental for health. Add on-top of that that research indicates no adverse health effects as long as it is not consumed in excessive quantities
It may sound like a meme, but it actually makes sense
Also whole fruits take some time to chew, which adds to the prolonged digestion process
@tender flint
Yes lutein and zeaxanthin.
I will check once I get home but I think it's something like 1.8mg and 800ug
As for experience, I've been taking it for almost a month now and I think my eyesight got like 10-20% better.
I notice Details more easily and It might have helped my VRT.
Hard to say though since I started with kvk itself around that time too.
I haven’t noticed anything personally @hollow spade
I'd recomend to give it a try if you know that your eyesight is subpar
@torpid walrus what’s your audio reaction time
Aight I will when I get home
My reactions times are fairly average
For everything
Like 190-200ms VRT
GG @torpid walrus, you just advanced to level 2 !
@tulip perch Thanks for the info!
Oh
