you hold an angle, or rely on info and try to not give away your life

A. Consulate garage defence

A good roam presence starts top floor - lots of vertical to 1st floor, hatches for eazy rotates
You start getting drones. To do that you hide, so that if you are not droned you get a freebie, but if you are you can get the drone and rotate
So you make them waste time and drones. After getting 2-3 drones you can continue on 1st floor

To make them waste more time you can make them take a specific side abusing power positions like holding top yellow stairs with jager

they are kinda forced to go admin side which allows you to get more drones and time wasted

also ofc play off your teammates to refrag & get drones for each other etc

B. Coast kitchen defence
You hold sunrise

You start off by agressive positions(again, if not droned to get kills) to get drones
You then proceed to fall back to power positions

You throw 1-5 bullet prefires to keep attackers at bay

So you risk as little as possible while still being agressive

You contest them when they are vulnerable, especially utility dumping

And then you either fall back or waste time till your death

but yeah

play imporant areas of the map

play the intel game

be agressive enough but not risky

Second of all your teammates must relay what they are experiencing to you

It's their job as anchors to both say stuff like "I got droned in site" "They emped main wall" "They got hot tub wall open" "They got kitchen hatch open" "1 kitchen 1 dirt 1 blue" so roamers can see pressure adding up and react accordingly as well as "I am getting F-ed here" "I am under pressure" "I need help" to grab their attention if they are lost
