Is solo queue an accurate way of depicting your true skill level in r6? I'm silver 1, but I can't make it to gold 3, yet in a majority of my games I carry and still loose. Would the best way to get your "true" rank is to play with a 5 stack?

Your aim is usually better on your first cold run of anything. Kovaak's or Siege. It's because you're expecting to not be warmed up and bring in 0 expectation to your performance for that first run. You have no temporary baseline of performance to compare yourself to for that day. Play a few rounds, and you expect to be performing better and now you have a baseline to compare. You may perform worse now that you can judge yourself until you fully warm up. Natural mentality.
