Shroud is one of the world's best aimers. But not for people's traditional reasons.
If you ever ask me my advice on things or people's aim you've noticed I always bring up consistency, because not only is that by far the most important aspect to remain competitive but also the most difficult.
Shroud is perhaps the best player (or at least one of the best players while being the most well-documented) in terms of consistency across ALL FPS games. The man has the unheard of ability to cross into a brand new FPS game and instantly perform at a near top level in terms of mechanics. That alone exhibits an insane amount of mouse control translated into practical aim. Very few, if nobody else, can do that so consistently across so many different games while continuing to achieve flowstate as much as he does. He's historically quiet. For a reason. His ability to enter flowstate so quickly is astounding- which is also IMO the most difficult skill to learn.
His peak aim is great. Not "the best."
But his consistency through the dozens of games that he plays and how quick he is to compete at them is not easily matched.
But yes, he is overrated by the masses.
