I was playing battlefield today and a noticed it was a lot easier to win gunfights and consistently top frag when the health was 100% compared to hardcore mode which was 60%
Hardcore mode has similar ttk to siege

Defender sided meta is intentional. That's how it should be to keep the game balanced since offense has superior guns. Defense is intended to have the counter-advantage through default map control (with offense having to figure out how to attack that on the fly). Always having the perfect attack strat before you spawn would ruin that.
Not to mention that would make Pro League much more boring.

One of the big issues with Siege for me currently is that my aim can't function at 100% because my eyes don't know what they should be looking for, you know? There are so many maps, and a good amount of ops that I don't know when or where to expect someone and sometimes even when I see someone my brain takes a second to register it.
That problem is subsiding slowly though

Fully understand what you mean. That's why I seriously suggest more than any other game to watch videos of the best aimers. Not only is it good visualization practice, but you subconsciously learn the correct spots to look in situations that those aimers are in. You see what they pick up on and how they always react to it properly (or else it wouldn't be a highlight).

Other than that, it's genuinely something you just have to learn over time. The only other tip I can give you is that you have tons of ammo. Don't be afraid to light something up if you're unsure if it's potentially hostile.

The basics of R6S aren't foreign to me, I have 200 hours in the game but I've owned it for over 2 years and I usually just played casual or t hunt and all my hours are really really split up

Something I do a lot that people don't do enough is quick peeking. Cut a room into slices and lean out and back in to peek (without the intention of killing) just to gain info. If you don't see anything, peek further and cover more "slices" of that room until the room is cleared.

After that it will be reverse repelling on windows, which seems like a much more daunting task to learn.

I'll do it 5 times on a doorway often if I think someone's in that room. There's no way they'll kill you unless they're just prefiring. Pro tip, though: if you DO see someone while quick peeking, do your next peek crouched so they don't prefire head level and you walk into it.

Apparently many freaks of nature use their middle finger, but I can't so I lay my A/D fingers flat (A+Q or D+E) so I lean and move at the same time.

a lot of time in siege its better to learn crosshair placement and having good aim can be more beneficial to flick to head level of where you think opponents will be based on other cues rather than just flicking to them if that makes sense

Yeah stuttery tracking is a very common and natural issue. Just need to work on your smoothness. Unsmooth tracking isn't necessarily terrible, but it's not ideal. It's amplified on high sensitivities for obvious reasons. Playing with a small crosshair on thin longstrafing targets (like that^) is ideal to practice smoothness. Can even increase FOV if you'd like.

a lot of the time people donโt realize they are inconsistent in siege is because after winning a few games (especially early season where your elo is inflated) you start to play tougher opponents who capitalize on your mistakes more

While entirely true, I feel another angle the same issue is your mentality.
When you're bad you strive to improve. When you consider yourself good or have been performing well for a while, you feel more confident and subconsciously strive to improve less. You minimize your mistakes more instead of trying to adapt yourself. This often leads to where good players wonder why they aren't performing well anymore and their confidence is "depressed." I see a lot of players spiral like this. They keep comparing themselves to their past- how good they were playing.
Play like you have nothing to lose, mentally. No ego and expected performance level. Don't play stupid but don't play like you're expected to play at your standards; play to improve. Actually acknowledge your mistakes more, again.

@vivid jolt thatโs what Iโve been doing all yesterday I was playing bad again but instead of tilting like I usually do I self assessed and realised what I did wrong stupid things like repeaking spawn peaks and wide peaking also I changed my sens from 10-83 to 10-78 which is only 2 cm but I changed it back to 83 and felt better off so could of also been the mistake I made
My biggest issue is play time I have 350hours and managed to be plat 3 for 3 seasons now I donโt play as often so I feel like I expect improvement to quick tbh I think being plat 3 in under 400hours is good I hit it back on 200hours and been plat 3 for 3 seasons now all I can do is play more and improve bit by bit
i feel like everyone has to play some level of comp to understand what they do wrong and how it affects their team
even players with well over 2k hours have no clue of their mistakes

And now that its worn in, it has significantly more glide than when it was new
I whipped out my somewhat used hyper x fury s because i thought itd be faster, and in North Carolina, with this humidy, the โspeedโ pad felt like absolute mud in comparison
I think its the hyper x fury s speed ? Idk im dumb AF. Box says hyper x fury s but then at the bottom says speed edition so yeah probably the โspeedโ

I hope im asking in the correct section. I play Rainbow 6 Siege and i have the following settings: 24", 82 fov, 400 dpi, 10/10/30. How can i replicate the sensi to kovaaks? The option of Reflex/Rainbow6 only applies to my sens for hipfire and not my acog sens?

I'll be honest with you, you'd have to pay for premium on that sensitivity website so you can get the exacts cs/source sensitivity for 1x, hipfire and acog
And then practice with all 3 sensitivities
I'll tell you what I did to get around this because I'm cheap
Set my fov to 90, set my ads to 83 so its the same as my hipfire sensititivy and convert that to Cs/source
And pretty much never use acog
Outside of that you can just practice your hipfire sensitivity on kovaaks and play thunt acog a ton
Your aim will definitely improve that way
