I've encountered so many kd players that just bait on roof or save kd last 30seconds. Without kd and wl I think only running twitch would die out (except for content creators) Because people would run utility for wins since mmr would be the only skill measurement.

i ran a 66cm/rev but, like he said, i was compensating for my lack of control. so i changeed it to 55cm/rev and adapted to it after a day on siege. I trained it in kovaaks and ive been getting more accurate since then. I was wanting to lower it to around the 50cm/rev mark but im not sure if i should

I played my first placement on Eu, as soon as the game started I saw the map, it was themepark defense. I reboot my game and I didn't have the reconnect prompt and my 4 teammates said they had a random. So I got into a different squad and mid game I got an abandon penalty, won that game and had to wait 25minutes. Now I'm 50% winrate on my 2 matches this season. Year 5 btw π

Tile Franzy Top 100s don't count as having good aim. I'm higher than Noted on every scenario I've seen him on (by intention) and I'm not that good.

And I know people who sit at 120 and never practice
Then there are people with like 250 vrt

@normal bloom One very big part of reaction time I forgot to include yesterday was the refresh rate of your monitor. Almost a year ago today I got my pc and had a 60hz monitor, my reaction time was 190-210ms and then I got a 144hz monitor about 3months later. This boosted my reaction time down to 140-160ms VRT of course.

Not particularly an ideal scenario but it's basically nothing but microadjustments.
Then there's one literally called Microadjustment Flick or something like that? Just a 2x2 super small tile frenzy.
Again, not ideal, but it's nothing but microadjusting as fast as you can.
'Microshot speed small & 1w2t without the time bullshit' are a bit broader ranges of a similar motion.

The problem with ranked in siege is above probably mid plat your individual skill won't do much
You literally have to 5 stack into diamond and champ unless you are very lucky in early season
People who soloq diamond play not many games, have very fortunate placement and are very lucky with their maps and attack/defence first chances
I should not be able to get to diamond in 10 matches of ranked

Limits the operator strategies. Most every op is viable in siege... to a degree (with very obvious exceptions) and sometime you flat out just don't need a flex or a hardbreach or an entry archetype. Forcing someone to play those roles won't benefit in many situations.
What we DO need is:
-Everybody starts their placement at Bronze IV (not GOLD III)
-20~ elo gain per match, not fking 110.
-NO elo gain decrease over time (so you don't get 2 elo per match at season's end)
-Perhaps league promotion matches required to rank up a league?
-Elo decay at the top ranks so players can't sit there afk
-IMPACT based elo (slightly) so if I drop 15 and lose I don't lose more than my 2-17 friendo
-Different queues for 5 stacks and solo queues, etc.
-Softer elo reset at the end of the season (perhaps just placement match elo adjusting again).
-Better seasonal rewards for the higher you finish (such as alpha packs, skins, R6 credits, etc.)
-Avoid as teammate buttons
-Report teammate behavior options that actually do something to toxicity
-A CSGO overwatch review system
-A goddamn better anti-cheat
-And a fking Esports tab that encourages you to play the semi pro leagues and watch the pros while people are grinding the in-game ranks.
Boom. Perfect MMR system.
Ranked now better than Faceit.
And most all of that is just number tweaking. Hardly requires development.
