Focusing on scenarios isn't ever going to make your aim better. Lifting weights isn't going to make you a better boxer/fighter. It'll just make those muscle groups stronger and more able to be molded by a technique [game].

Similarly, focusing on scenarios isn't ever going to make your aim worse, either. If you're a boxer and you're focusing on leg exercises.. well, that's not unhealthy nor bad, but it's just not super useful for what you need. Figure out what your necessities are otherwise you're wasting your time.

Whoever decided that we should make a map that is practically impossible to defend from inside the bombsite and just CUT OUT the ENTIRETY of middle map needs to stop. There is no safe spot to ever sit in Coastline on defense. I hate coastline. It's always shot from the back or shot from a window or shot from the roof, never a fair gunfight in my experience.

QcK is the worst mousepad ever, and yet everyone has one. It stretches, it's very inconsistent in texture, it wears out fast, it's a dirt-magnet, the edges fray, and reacts very differently with humidity (like all cloth pads, but this one more than usual).
The reason it's so normie and popular is because they're dirt cheap. Cheap things usually aren't good. QcK is made out of poor quality material.

IMO top tier. Has humidity issues, though, so speed changes in humid places when the weather shifts. Also it wears down, but it wears down quickly, so the speed isn't constantly changing.

G-SR is good for Siege specifically as well. Grippiest pad there is. Many pros use it.

Hmm, what i look for is something that the mouse glides well over, doesn't attract dirt so it can be used for a while without having to wash every week, and something that has consistency to it.

Friction and grip are the biggest factors when choosing a pad. Any pad in the "Control" and below category in that mastersheet are optimal for click-timing headshot dominant games.

Durability is second most important. No point is having a certain friction pad if it's going to change. But no pad ever really gets faster, just slower.

Steelseries is just a shit company all around. I'd sooner buy Razer products than Steelseries anything.

Also I believe light mice are optimal for games like Siege. Low sensitivity means big movements means lots of energy put into each swipe. Not only does that now require less energy making large mouse movements easier, but it also means it requires less force to stop on a precise point (the head)-- i.e. the inertia of your mouse under its momentum.

I consider any mouse 65g and under to be light. Anything under 85g, imo, is light enough to not be considered a problem/factor, though.

Also, the idea that a lighter mouse will make you faster is mythic. Your body isn't stupid. If you raise your sensitivity or lower it, you will adjust accordingly. If your target moves slowly or quickly, you will adjust to it.
Same with lightweight mice. You won't be flying all over the place. You will adjust (after a period of time) to use less force to make the same movements.

**Though the adjustment period is real. I also lowered my sens by 2.5cm once I dropped 35g until I got used to it.

Siege is an FPS with a MOBA built on the surface of it. You can't play the FPS mechanics without fully understanding the MOBA aspects. Mastering either one of these features will take you to the top without much of the other.

I hate the argument that Siege doesn't take aim because you can just use strats. I hate the argument that you don't need strats because you can just peek and aim. You won't be the best unless you master both.

Telling someone to be otherwise is wasting their potential.

Yeah some players in Ranked are a terrible experience but playing Ranked is necessary. Look at all the best individual players in the world (not PL rank), and look how much more Ranked they play than other pros. Pengu, Nesk, Beaulo, Shaiiko all play a ton of ranked. Even in CS. S1mple, Zywoo play a ridiculous amount of FPL far more than others.
Only playing customs I don't believe is enough to put you as a top player.

And Shaiiko is undeniably in the top 3 fraggers and aimers in the game. But I can't say he's the best player. He has way too little experience and no accomplishments. We haven't seen him slump or under insane pressure. Without seeing that we have no idea about his consistency, and consistency is the only thing that matters when talking about how good a player is.
