Server Guidelines

In order to keep Voltaic nice and fun, all we ask is to follow these rules. Thank you! kirby

🤝 Be respectful

  • No offensive, inappropriate or discriminative content may be posted in the Discord. This includes profile pictures, bio, status and names.
  • Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, discriminatory jokes, witch hunting, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated.
  • Do not start drama, leave politics and religion out and don't trash talk each other.

📣 Keep the chat in English, try to stay on topic and uphold ToS

  • This is an English-only discord, you may use the respective language channels to speak another language.
  • Use the designated channels for different stuff/debates.
  • Illegal activities and links to illegal websites is completely prohibited.

💡 Avoid trolling, be helpful instead!

  • No unnecessary pinging, mentioning or private messaging of moderators , staff and owner.
  • Do not post deliberately provocative, suggestive, excessive or off-topic (low quality) comments, that distract from the main conversation. Members should always feel welcome to interject in conversations.
  • Do not use symbols, letters or numbers in front of your name to hoist yourself higher up the members list.

📝 Help us keep the server organised and welcoming

  • All names must be mentionable, do not use foreign/forbidden characters that cannot be easily mentioned.
  • Avoid using any derogatory terms, including terms around sensitive topics, failing to do so will result in an automute, and possible ban.
  • Mutes last however long we think is appropriate, circumventing the mute will result into an instant ban.

✊ Avoid escalating situations, we're happy to elaborate on our rules privately

  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviour is against the rules.
  • Mocking warnings/mutes/helpers/mods is absolutely not tolerated and will result in a more severe action being taken.
  • Mods hold the final say, if you feel they did something unjustified contact @obtuse brook.

🚫 Avoid Advertising & Solicitation

  • No advertising or solicitation. You may only use #1133816529952194693 to advertise.
  • To prevent spam, we only allow to post your own scores in #1124731342098272266/#scores.
  • Avoid posting or advertising resources from other communities/competitors, as this is qualified as solicitation.

📜 Use common sense, and follow Discord's guidelines

  • Breaking any of the rules above may get you banned without warning.
  • Where the rules do not prevail, common sense does.
