Use what's most comfortable. Certain grips have certain advantages but they are negligible to the benefits of comfortably holding your mouse. Your performance will improve in a comfortable physical position far more than it would with an unnatural position with more range of movement.

I want to know this, though
I'm trying to distinguish between relaxed-claw and regular claw. According to someone I asked, relaxed claw is when you palm your mouse, then curl your fingers up into a claw and see how it naturally fits, while regular claw is without any palm contact. With me, I grip the mouse with my right hand, and the top right side of my right hand, as well as some of the top centre of it, touch the mouse. My thumb grips it tightly, so do the ring and pinky, but unlike my index and middle finger, my ring and pinky are almost fully extended, with a slight bend. What would this be classified as? It's a nice grip and feels more stable, faster, and retains the capability of moving your fingers even without a raw fingertip grip

Without palm contact means only the fingertips touch? That would be fingertip. Yours sounds more like palm.
Everyone holds their mouse differently. Doesn't mean it's a totally new style. Just their comfortable version of a known grip.

relaxed claw is when you don't curl your fingers that much. In claw grip you do have your palm supporting the mouse in certain way. IF the mice is too big for your hand you will be doing a Palm-relaxed claw very likely
when you are not using any palm to support the back of the mice, that would be fingertip grip
