@dawn cargo I literally went through and am still going through the exact same thing
felt like I was choking 24/7
had panic attacks for like
a month straight
I take an extremely low dose proton pump inhibitor (protonix) that helped so much
and it's the lowest dose, so there will be very little side effects

when they did the endoscopy they found that the issue was with my LES (lower esophageal sphincter)
it would let the acid reflux up into my throat, but the muscles around it are so tight that it doesn't let the acid drain back down
so the acid just sits in my throat
and makes me feel like I am choking

if you want to talk at all about it I'm always open in a DM ♥
I know it feels like this shit will never end, but you will learn to deal with it ❤
