Yeah generally speaking. It’s not black and white , sometimes you’re allowed to chase far , but the 3-gens are there immediately. Recognize them and have the survivors spend big resources if they want to break them. Don’t worry about going to low pressure areas that allow them to progress the areas of the map where you are strongest. Perks like corrupt forces survivors to loop into your 3-gen early , to not interrupt active generators can give you a hook there in the 3-gen which is an optimal point for you, since they have to cross a choke in the important generators where you are to get the rescue, while also allowing you to clear out resources in the 3-gen area it secured. Also means it’s uncontested, so you can chase out of it first chase , but other 3-gens can be strong too even with corrupt in play
