You want to protect people from the sun and potential rain using a tent, but the tent is very open allowing easy access in and out. With the addition of the seating area behind

Also if it's packed, maybe go see another artist you've never seen before

No, but youre allowed to bring camping cookers if you have a fireproof surface to use them on. I believe they also provided concrete tiles at the onsite camping shop for lending last year.

The food from the various foodtrucks isnt too expensive though and I definitely suggest trying some! Pasta Joe's is amazing 😄

My first Liquicity was also solo, first festival ever, knowing literally nobody, and it was still the most memorable weekend of my life. Everyone is friendly and there for good music and good times! Don't worry

My first festival ever was last year as a solo too and I was nervous as all hecc before I got there. I found out quickly how friendly people are on the campsite. Its really easy to make some festival buddies there no matter where you camp out.
As easy as I may make it sound, theres really not much to be nervous about 🙂

And yeah most people bring their own gear, but you can also buy accomodations like the Kartent and such. I recommend also looking into getting a locker. I had no trouble storing my belonging in my tent last year but you never know.

Camping is definitely part of the experience, but a hotel or airbnb will allow you to actually sleep at night which sounds kinda great. Main downsides is having to travel to and from the festival location and not being able to quickly grab something from your tent during the day, and of course the costs but if you'd need to rent a tent, sleeping mat, etc. anyways then the difference may not make that much of a difference
