before gives you control on where exactly your car hits the ball. if the underside of your nose hits the ball hard your car will go backwards much more

if you hit it with the top half of the nose closer to the windshield ur car will nosedive

so u airroll to make sure ur hitting it with the flat part of ur nose so that u have little to no effect when hitting the ball

Feather boost a bit more
Try to stay under the ball so it doesnt lose height too fast
Minimize your inputs to the left stick which arent necessary
For now just try to get touches in the air later on focus on bringing it to the goal
