look i am gc 1 rn so take what you want from me but i would suggest leaving the mechanics to the side and focus more on recoveries and generally being fast. Make freeplay your home with or without the ball

try and put yourself in uncomfortable positions and focus on recovering fast and efficiently(half flips, dashes, holding drift while landing)

thats what worked for me. I have a certain ability in some mechanics but i am sure i still need to practice some others more. My speed is what catches off guard the opponents most of the time

When your ready to hit a ball in the air you have to think about where are the opponents, how much boost do you have, where is your teammate, is it good for me to hit it, will i gain something from hitting it. The last two are pretty important and if they are false you shouldn't go for the ball

And I can’t adjust to ball cam if I try

Ball cam and car cam is only used to gain information besides if your dribbling then car cam just makes it a lot easier for you to dribble

With ball cam you obviously gain the most information about the play so the only times you should really only switch is when you can gain more valuable information from car cam (excluding dribbling)

For example you want to see where the opponents are but the ball is not where the opponents are then you can switch and also look around

Look around = camera movement not driving around

Another example is when you want to see if the boost is there, although the better you become at gathering information with ball cam on the less times you will switch to car cam for information that can be gained through different means like counting big boost respawns in your head

Well depends what you want, if you see your opponent teammate is a bit too close to the play it can be better to force it over that person bc its harder to get movement backwards if your already moving forward. If the opponents teammate is not that close then it will probably be better to just go the other way (aka against the ball)

The safe bet is ofc just shooting it to your corner and take it from there but if you want just like a quick counter
