Ok I like what you’re doing but here’s what I can tell from the clip.

Because you’re going to tap the ball for a touch or two after your setup, there’s no need to break on the wall for the added space - this is actually making it harder for you. If you can resist breaking and stay closer to the ball, when you get your reset everything will be closer and easier to manage. All the added space made you hit the ball pretty hard toward the net, so it got away from you by the time you needed to use your flip. I’d also recommend in the particular scenario you sent me, to wait maybe a half or quarter second before using your reset.

But all things said, if you can just minimize the space between you and the ball by not breaking, you’ll probably find it a lot easier. I can tell you have the control to pull it all off 👍🏼

Free play and training packs, I use free play to hit the ball around and learn how to read the ball. I normally free play for the first 20-30 mins on rocket league to warm up. The training packs you can use to learn how to do almost anything. You will definitely need to learn and practice to become consistent. And don’t forget to trust your teammates and be aware of your surroundings. You don’t want to double or even triple commit because the other team will punish you for it the more your rank up.

it's because it bounces off of their car after you hit it, causing it to go behind you. you wanna get there after or at the same time as them. if at the same time as them tilt your car so it blocks their hit and bounces off of you
