if you were gc2 b4 you can get gc1 easily. not much has changed. players might have gotten a bit more mechy (flashy mechs) but they often overlook fundamentals now. if you can hit the ball w/ power and can use a couple brain cells it's easy

if you are too high up you are probably just overboosting then. try to stop boosting a bit sooner b4 hitting the ball or tilt more into the ball so you are boosting towards the backwall for faster/earlier dt

Diamond: Stop tilt queueing, give your teammate space, get better at punishing your opponents. This can be done with good shooting and reads. Starting defending off backboard and get better at doing it. See the enemy up high, go backboard. Get better at basic aerials and wall touches as these can be vital. Get better at offense without sacrificing defense

In 2021 Aug I reached GC3 then stopped playing rl. Started again in 2023 Oct. Where, I started at C1 and finished 1704 in 120games.

This season I have grinded, played 170games and still stuck at 1704. I started at GC1. Basically, since Christmas I have been 1700.

Because pros back in the day used octane since it was from the prequel to rocket league sarpbc and pros set the precedent for what others use. It’s also just a good all round hitbox with no inherit advantages or disadvantages. You can get to any rank with any type of car it just takes practice

The fennec and octane are the same hitbox and the fennec only became popular because one pro played really well with it

the octane fennec dilemma is because octane is default and fennec has same hit box and fills it out better

it doesnt fill it out perfectly at all, but its been said to give a better visual reference

changing cars is pretty irrelevant until you get higher up in ranks

at that point just use what car u r used to

id say octane, hybrid, and dominus are the three most common hit boxes as theyre the biggest categories, except for hybrid, but that is just used more than the other hit boxes in game

1575 is legitmately the real Grand Champ

There hasn't been a difference in GC at all, it's the same continuous cycle in Gc1. 1575 is just out of the consistency drug. And then starts heading into committing issues 🫨
