they said they are buffing 5* partners

cause currently the 3* partners are WAY better

simply cause of the stupid dupe system they implemented

no 5* should be weaker than a 3* max duped

but thats not the case in this game

e7 dupe system was way better

cause it meant that you didnt really need dupes

dupes only gave stats boosts, nothing that changed the character

and dupes for artifacts (partners) mainly gave increased chance of something happening

but at +15 (no dupes) it was generally within the accepted percentage to activate

this should let you get the 5* partner for most of ur 5* characters if they need it

the weapon system in this game(and similar ones) is better since I just pull it once and it works fine with dupes giving bigger stats

the problem with the partner system in this game is that the activated ability is usually not good enough to give up the free 16% attack stats of max 3* dupes

the only good activated 5* abilities are the ones that actually interact with the game state

like Bria, where she can exhaust all status and curse cards from the discard pile

compared to something generic like, 200% shield

or 200% damage

no the issue is that 16% atk at least a 16% more damage multiplier while the 5* ones are like THE CARD DOES 25% INCREASED DAMAGE MULTI which is like 8% damage multiplier on a 300% card

if you have 200% cdam and crit the 16% attack becomes a 32% total damage increase btw

for reference on haru they would need to give her like 400% increased damage from the partner on the card to match that
