Problem with running ginsetsu in midrange is that you should be ending the game before you get to turn 9

The 3rd rulenye is important because it's another source of storm and 3 5/5s are difficult to remove on curve

In situations where your opponent is not dead on turn 8 or earlier, that is where Gilnelise comes in to finish the job

Ginsetsu does not help with you actually winning the game as midrange

Firstly, reaching 5 crests takes a bit of time. It isn't that difficult to pressure the haven player, if you're playing aggro, to force it out early. Where I've often had issues with benison is everything else they can fit on the same turn they play it. A very basic 2 -> 3 pp adjustment would be more than enough.

But they won't do that either because, currently, crest haven doesn't have Neutral Blood levels of dominance over the meta

you gotta deal with grimnir, wilbert and marwyn and that's 3 permanent crests

none of the crest cards are bad cards to have on the board they come with removals or wards so just by playing them you're stalling the game

The reason Crest Haven was strong is because it could kill you well before turn 10 while still having the option to play the long game. If the Belial deck can only win via the crest, it's very unlikely it'll be good

It's similar to how Rune has several ways to kill you without drawing their singular copy of Cocytus
