On the turn before they a&g, you have the choice of going wide (as you said, they can clear 3 followers unless they have a 0 cost shikigami). Jeno mostly answers Kuon on curve. The match-up is sword favored but it's not always a cakewalk.
I don't rely on luck. I build my decks to reliably draw into answers when I need them.

Face Dragon is nowhere near broken enough to be crying for any of their cards to be nerfed. It's a very inconsistent deck, but it's fast for ranked climbing if you don't care about being perma-ruby.
