powerful enough to replace current crafted charms if rolled well
even the shitty ones can be decent
ye pretty giga but you'd have to find ways to slot in 2x large decos to replace shit like wex or agitator

implementation can be done better with better rates but we've yet to see what else is on the horizon in terms of additional catch up mechanics and just more drops

I can understand the points on certain jank giving some form of cooperation through forced gameplay like moving players around the monster, but to me that isn't the proper friction you want.
You want players be forced to learn through experimentation, force em to learn each monster like its the new raid boss. And with how players are, there will be people who won't care and will tank the experience for 3 others in a lobby, like any MMO raid

and topple I understand the base level of it, but I don't know what's the internal counter that causes it
Cuz to me, its just reading info from a data miner and being like, okay, if I hit 10 attacks on the head with my gs, then hit 20 times on the wing, after he gets up ill hit the 11th swing on the head and stagger again
each part have it own topple value
and you can stack them up during topple'd animation
but when you reach it during animation it wont proc
so solo ppl know how many hit does it need
and do the atk after the monster get up to do topple stunlock
getting a feel for it i guess
i play mainly party play so i dont get that feel outside of group content
i know approximately how many hits or when a monster will go down to stun but i dont track that

After you've spammed the Rest button 1000 times, like seriously I've spent more time resetting for spawns than actually fighting Arkveld. Also screw the small dino things... This run can be improved but small monsters killing me at 1 HP got me burnt out; will revisit another time with title updates, maybe.

wound work semi same with topple that have it own value when you atk the monster enough
GU tehcnically because of the hunting styles
but most of the hunting styles just limited your skill set and gave you alternate skills
but much easier to manage than topple

i don't go around creating wound after wound because focus strikes break all of em, which are decent chunks of dmg and helpful meter gain for some weapons
reason why I said it can be inconsistent since I remember hitting the head of Arkveld after mounting
tried to break the head wound for a stagger
and another wound on the head appears

So here's an example of the Kushala Daora lock with LS. The main thing is getting the head stagger and beginning the Spirit Combo before he hits the ground, then you have enough time to hit the Helm Splitter...

i played around with it a bit, i thought it was actually ok
controller would unironically help me play shit like ls better
i mostly tried it back when i was playing IG cuz IG controls with the held button were ass

cuz the kb+m default for iss and the echo bubble are like
R + Spacebar
which is wildly inconsistent at times
you can hotkey em into 1 button but they play out in sequence so sometimes you may not have your echo bubble or you might be recovering from get up
and when you hit the hotkey
you just do a dodge roll
but for every other weapon than those 2, its fine on kb+m
CB on controller would be as difficult as kbm for me because of how many button combos you do for each chain, and I struggle with that

Y and B button are close to each others

Although we will continue to implement gradual improvements in the weeks ahead, we are targeting Free Title Update 4 this winter to implement a multifaceted plan, including CPU and GPU related optimizations, followed by a second stage of mitigation measures afterwards.
We'll share more information on the specifics in the future.

Porting to a new engine takes years even if it's an upgraded one. No way they're porting to whatever is still being made

rather than putting out the fixes on time, they hamfist everything into one big bundled update because either they don't want to deal with the hassle of small hotfixes that would interrupt daily operations, or its some bureaucracy bullshit that's pushing everything to a deadline rather than putting it out in a timely manner

normal omega i joined a fucking party finder and got it first try

regular behemoth is a joke and you can ignore most mechanics
savage requires actual builds for it
even with mrank behemoth can still walk you if you dont play the fight correctly

3rd phase spawns a shield generator for 1 person to use on their slinger
if you lack shields, you can spawn one for MRV
nah it's cause it'll MRV every minute or two at the last phase
there's not enough shields 
it also drops parts in the 4th phase

the issue isnt animation
its the fucking hitbox
you have 4 spindly legs
the body hits for nothing
its super high up so you can't really touch it
like with other monsters, even steve
you can hit parts of him that isn't effective but you're still hitting him
with omega, its either the underbelly or you whiff
i cant even imagine hammer on this shit i ran it once with xeno he was suffering lol
hammer you need to run evade window and maybe extender if you aren't comfy with wire dodging
its very doable with wire spam
you charge into wire spam and do hit and runs with mcu
its just not good like in this fight u either bring a shield or u go a fast weapon
or u can do bow guns

bring a shield guard up and u chilling for the most part
3rd phase has a wipe but it's pretty easy
i find that if you make it to 3rd phase with randos you can make it to the final phase otherwise it's hopeless

everytime alessa grabs aggro the fucker just stops moving
but the moment it drops, he keeps backing up 5 paces away from the nearest player
eventually just planting his ass inside the wall

on my last run, 3rd phase, after he delta attacks and before he jumps down into the pit, half his body was off the map

arena still feels fine its just his AI
I suspect its gotta be some mix of aggro fuckery, cuz other monsters hold aggro just fine
but Omega swaps aggro almost instantly, like there's a 5 second script running to overwrite his aggro each time until enmity is established
causing Omega to literally spin and swap targets like an ADHD kid, forcing everyone to chase after his limbs and the slow tank to grab the head

can't reliably lure him like with other monsters
enmity only lasts for so long before he starts spazzing out
you'll see when you try him

and the constant movement isnt much of a problem for sns/db

Options are slug out normal and extreme with current gear or try to get lagi pants, seregios hbg, and roll a good amulet

this is a very aggressive setup they ran
the first couple phases are the ones where you can realistically punish
isnt spread still awful to play
but the rest requires teamwork to actually create wounds
and you have to pray this fucker does not move
like I'm watching someone do Alatreon
and each attack has a cooldown period before the next, a roar or even just the animation of alatreon winding back his head
Omega has NONE of that, not to mention his hitbox is like a fucking noodle
appreciate the shitty mspaint but like
every X is where you can wound him
you can wound two parts of his leg, his shins and the upper hind
but weapons like dual blade and sns won't hit the upper portion
only ls, sns and ig with their vertical attacks will hit and they won't do it as often as required
and the legs are fucking tiny, with omega being able to do a complete 180, forcing you to swap sides constantly
hell even fucking Alatreon has a stagger mechanic
Omega requires you to heavily damage a single leg for it to fall over and stagger
otherwise its just a minor nuisance
solo with support hunters afaik
it has solo scaling but its VERY aggressive
its created to be like the ff14 raid with the intention that you have a tank, healer, dps combo

genuinely the boss is fine with its moves, like everything can be dodge and you can survive half of em, not many 1 shot you
the issue is you combine them with you being at the whim of the AI using their abilities and its movement
its tendency to back away from players when using the laser and charging/jumping across the arena

my tip for dps players hugging the leg is to unironically look down
change your camera to like a top down view and just toggle focus to stick on the leg more effectively
its not like you have to look at the boss to know what he's doing

With 3 goobers i was doing about 40/60 on normal
So about 37-40 personal DPS
