you can treat the draw points as powders in the banner so when you exchange for a banner costume you pretty much just consume it and if you have any left overs in any banner it will just turn into powder after the banner ends or you can convert them to powder manually if the banner is still up if you ever need powder to buy from the powder shop

if you're talking about exclusive gears then each unit will have their own exclusive gear and it can be a weapon/helm/chest/necklace/ring/gloves depending on the unit and exclusive gears are exclusive to the unit so you can't use it on any other unit but every costume of the same unit will have the same exclusive gear and the most notable exclusive gears are mainly the dps units and preferably a weapon type coz they get the most out of it although realistically UR exclusive gears are mainly a chase item for min-maxing and it's not something necessary or game breaking coz every unit can function with a crafted UR gear specially if it's t4 and rolled well

if you just play the story and you dont engage in all the other gacha shit its fairly balanced from what I remember
the moment you engage in the gacha shit the power balance shifts and you basically beat it all fairly easily
and it then rebalances when you do the hard mode / very hard mode versions but thats really to only engage in more gacha shit
side stories are split between side story packs which function similarly to the story mode of the game and the event stories which last for like two weeks and you get the story parts for free and the gacha shit is just stuff you do on the daily
now if you want to play f2p and actually play the gacha then its also pretty easy the game is fairly generous but its still tuned to the point where you wont be able to beat the hardest content unless you plan well and or get lucky

the equipment system in this game is decent coz you can progress the story by just investing on blue rarity gear which are the 2nd to lowest rarity gear until you can afford to craft the end game gears but if you're getting turned off about the game having exclusive gears per unit and a separate banner for it then don't worry coz every unit can function with crafted UR gear coz exclusive gears are mainly for min-maxing stats coz they don't lock any other feature with it aside from just a bit more stats and realistically those stats only matter if you're pushing whale content

since you're just starting off both michaela and eclipse are good enough at +1 coz that's their costume's breakpoint and further dupes are just more dmg which you don't really need early in the game and dupes after breakpoints are mainly just required for like doing field hunter or climbing tower of desire/wrath/jealousy coz those contents are where you'll need the extra dmg from dupes even if you already have really good gears
also for the upcoming banners after the current event we'll probably find out on the 18th when they announce the collab coz they'll probably announce what's also coming before the collab coz the collab happens on oct 2nd so there will be something in between to fill in the 2 weeks gap before the collab

about this there's a really broken artifact in tower of salvation but it's a UR one and it's quite rare but what it does is it makes it so your chain caps at only 2 so regardless of how many hits you do you won't over chain and every chain increases your dmg by 500% so it's really broken when paired with teresse that you'll 1 shot anything including some bosses

about fixed dmg it's actually really bad in general that they're useless outside of pvp or early pve and tower of salvation is the only pve mode where they could actually shine coz anywhere else they just don't do enough dmg coz bosses hp scales really high compared to their defense

so when you setup your units costume you can put them in order and w/e is in the 1st order will be used during your 1st turn and it will only swap to another costume in the order if the previous costume is used so assuming you have the sp

arena offense have 5 starting sp and defense have 6 starting sp that's why breakpoint dupes and potential matters in that mode so you have to 1st set the order of your unit's costume that you want in turn 1 while also accounting for how much total sp will be used by them and you can move the order of the units on the left side coz the one at the top will always be the 1st one to use sp so just prioritize who you want to use and put the least priority one at the bottom
let's say for example you use your elpis + teresse to buff that's already 4 sp so you literally have 1 sp left to atk and i doubt you have any units that cost 1 sp
that's why sometimes you'd have to limit your buffs

btw when you started running into granhildr defense
you could use your schera as 1st one to atk
just to dispel granhildr's taunt
other wise she'll eat all your dmg from turn 1
coz normally she's got like around 16-20k hp with a 20k shield on top of it so she can eat alot of dmg
and later you'd be facing ones with 20k hp + 60k shield xD
so to prevent her for taunting + eating all your dmg during turn 1 you either schera her if you're a magic user or eleanear if you're a phys user
but if you have the gears you could blow her up using eclipse aswell xD

in most runs i feel like tank stats don't matter as much that i end up just going for the atks and resources stuff at the bottom for tower of salvation
coz i feel like when you do like hard stages or bosses in most cases they'll just 1 shot you regardless how tanky you are unless you get the evade artifact where you can evade a certain number of hits at the start of the battle

i think the worst one is if you lose and end up doing a hard fight and sometimes the hard fights are bs
coz the enemy placements and the enemies are random and almost every elite in a hard fight can't be pushed so in most cases you kill one and the other elite will kill your team

like in most runs you might have enough dmg to kill a boss but if you get unlucky and ran into a bs elite it can end your run

it's the banner that fills in the gap before the collab
so we're getting levia as a new banner and then 3 other re-runs
1st half is levia + sylvia re-run and then 2nd half is rubia + yuri re-run and the 2nd half re-runs ends by the time the collab happens

the best way to level crafting is spamming the green gears coz even though it gives the least exp it requires cheap resources
and you can spam crafting every piece of green gear just to get your collection while you're at it
blue gears only gives about double what green gears gives in exp but the material cost isn't more than double so you're pretty much don't want to spam it
