Canto 9 part 3 definitely gets better more time to digest it but 3 major flaws still remain : unnecessary gebura power up (their was no reason for them to feel the courage to protect after killing araya 
), awful dante writing the fact we see him observe everything and give no human response was pretty disappointing, extremely bland generic mc doing wonder aah writing and dialogue, and unnecessary hell painting scenario recreation, with present araya being handled in a pretty bad way
Everything else was peak, ryoshus back story was done extremely well and her bond with araya was done really nicely at the very least i got very attached to it
I'll argue a bit more time on nursefathers back story and how they got to find their apprentices and araya becoming dihui should have been shown
Those aspects do make it feel a bit rushed we see the results not the growth

Imo, season 1 is omega power creept, but tin tang honglu is still good for his passive dmg buff which is still quite strong to this day, a good bench buff with map faust generating gluttony, nclair is all the drawbacks with no way near results of current ids, nclair passive buff is also decent but wont help mao faust or riensang

like I said, they made the dungeons easy enough now because the focus is on making the save data recording smooth enough to do all the other boring ass game modes
