People have trouble with some of the story modes because of the lack of reading comprehension, I do too. Aleph able to get through all story contents even before nerf of every boss on each canto. Therefore, if he can do it, everyone can actually do it if they actually understand how the battle works.
The "nothing burger" in his context is, yea, the new units are better because you have less thing to care about the boss mechanics and just brute force. But at the end of the day, you can still win using past units and really, you just wanted to get past the story mode, really. Put MD aside, it's too easy anyway.
