Cinqclair is superb at clashing but his damage is alright, like the other Cinq IDs. Philclair can be good, especially on burn teams but I feel he needs a bit more conditions to fulfill and SP maintenance compared to Nclair who just needs to use his skills to lower his SP and manage that sanity level so he doesn't Corrade. His EGOs (Expect the fire prophet one, that one is just ass) do more for Nclair since his Base Ego could lower his sanity if it hits heads or heals it if it hits tails and not to mention Impending Day can boast all of Nclair skills while lowering his sanity as well. His corrosion on Nclair is not bad either as he could heal or gain blunt power up depending if he got ID or heal with Lantern (Or panic if he only has his base ego). Philclair on the other hand has to keep his sanity up and even that is on a timer when his conditions for his 2nd form are fulfilled. None of Sinclair EGOs really help out Phinclair in boosting him except for ID which will probably boost his skill 3 but it's not worth the trade off for lowering his sanity. His base ego could prob heal his sanity as well but good luck trying to hit a tail when he's positive sanity. If it's a super long fight, you might struggle with keeping Philclair in his Ego form because of volatile passion if it gets too high. For Nclair you can use his heal SP using his block skill if it's too low and what not. Overall I would rather use Nclair as a generalist and Philclair in a burn team because that's where he really shines.

Sorry for that wall of text, but will agree on the RNG part but which IDs aren't. Being at 45 sanity (or negative sanity for negative coins) doesn't always mean you will always hit heads or tails. Just means you have a higher chance to hit what you want cause there's always that 5% chance your ID can whiff their attack

The other reason why he is easy to maintain sp is base yi sang + n faust

As i said getting heads on nclair is extremely brutal for his dps while for phillip im guaranteed ego shift on turn 2 and 3 and also get yi ang passive up

Nclair has alot of rng problems and faust whisper being 3 is bad for him due to him binging more lust, ultimately i play phillip in burn and he is far superior in that environment, less rng and very gud dmg with just better clashes ( ever since his passive not being 3x wrath) the extra coin power makes him very gud
