So I was playing valorant fine last night and this morning i tried logging on and i got a error message that kept saying i needed to enable HVCI. On the instruction page to enable HVCI it says to enable memory integrity. Every time I try to enable it, it tells me I have incompatible drivers, when I click "review incompatible drivers" nothing shows and I already checked optional updates and updated drivers there. Any ideas?

any drivers you recently installed?
in the last 8 hours? no
in the last year also no
:P
hmm maybe there is an option in BIOS to enable it
yeah but i cant even get to bios
it says to get to bios i have to spam f2 or f12 when the dell logo is opening
and that js doesnt work 4 me.
right click
choose Terminal (Admin) and then enter shutdown /r /fw /t 00 it will go to the BIOS
which 1?
powershell (admin)
okay well
i already had the intel virtualization technology on
does this have anything to do with it ? @steel junco
no it's Kernel DMA Protection what you are looking for
should i turn that on
yeah that's what memory integrity is mostly
oh
wait
nvm im stupid
i just dont know why it shows no incompatible drivers
@steel junco do you know anything about registry editor
yes, but that won't really help here
so did you see any option in bios about kernel dma protection?
I'll look into if there is another way to see those drivers
Every time i search it up it tells me to enable intel virtualization
Alrdy have that on
This VT thing
And alrdy had that
And then secure boot which was alrdy enabled
@steel junco am i suppoosed to have a file in Scenarios called hypervisorenforcedintegrity
yup, but it might be that you are not able to boot if you set that with an incompatible driver
so i dont have that file
how do i get that
the switch in windows security will set that automatically
oh
ok so that tutorial is useless
i keep seeing stuff about an HLK to test for driver incompatibility?
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns can you run this and look at the drivers tab?
yup
might just be those unverified bluetooth drivers, wonder why they are tho
what about that adobe type manager
not loaded but you can also delete it, I think it got removed recently
how do i delete it
js right click it and press delete or
:P
😭
yup
and how do i verify those bluetooth drivers
I would try reinstalling them
ok i know im being a pain
but
erm
how do u reinstall them
can you show?
are there some devices when you scroll down?
like these or?
hum, I'm still missing those drivers you see there in autoruns, maybe just delete them
and then install bluetooth drivers again from dell website
i honestly dont see them on the dell website
atleast for my computer
the intel one
first or second one
the one that says bluetooth
yup
restart pc and check again
did it work now?
nope sadly not
still no drivers listed?
yeah
and every single time i delete it off the autorun
it js shows up again
hmm the driver is not actually there though
let's try making a restore point and then setting the registry key
reboot
kk done that
show msinfo32 again
can you show windows security?
yup
core isolation?
yuup
nice
thank u brother ur actually a life saver
holy i wouldve js been stuck on this for days
actually wouldve had to go to like a tech store or sumn
actually wonder if they would be able to help
I'll set this to solved then, have fun
thank u g
