#Bluetooth connectivity issues (which is driving me insane)

So. I am legit about to scream because I have no idea what the issue is.

So whenever I try to connect any bluetooth device (ps4 controller, bt hearbuds, etc.)
It says we didn't get a response from the device

and within event viewer I get
The mutual authentication between the local Bluetooth adapter and a device with Bluetooth adapter address (mac address) failed.

Windows is up to date, I reinstlaled the bluetooth driver, I restarted my pc, unplugged it for a minute, tried the bluetooth troubleshooter, tried sfc /scannow, reinstalled Windows, restarting the bluetooth services in service.msc, and still no fix.

There is nothing wrong with the hardware as I tried connecting to bluetooth on Fedora Linux on the same system and it connected just fine. so it's something on Windows' end.

ping me on response pls

Solution:

in services.msc
right click on the bluetooth services
click properties
go to log on

and make sure This Account: is "Local Service"
