I am facing this issue that never in my life I have ever heard of or faced !
Basically I purchased a Type A to Type C cable to transfer footage from my DJI Osmo Action 4 to my PC.
But "ON WINDOWS 11" I can not connect my action camera with my PC! The pop up on my action camera does not appear where it asks me if the cable I inserted is for file transfer!
But as soon as I go to Ubuntu with the same cable everything works! i can connect my action camera to my PC with the same computer, cable and this time the pop up appears on Ubuntu as well ass files get transferred!
To troubleshoot I changed my cable to a Ugreen cable and to my surprise it(Second cable) works on Windows 11!
With the Ugreen cable everything works as expected on windows!
To make the matter even more confusing with the same cable and a OTG cable i can connect my action camera with my phone and transfer files with the first cable!!
The cable in the question are alright!
If the cable were not rated for file transfer or if the cables lacked connectors to transfer files then it would not have been able to transfer files on Ubuntu as well right?
I have checked all the available USB Ports on my PC and shuffled everything as much as I can but I have failed to detect the issue!
