When running any application, typing , scrolling (basically anything) my computer is lagging. Start 1 week ago and have had the computer for 1.5 years.
I checked the health of all my hardware and making sure the latest drivers are installed. Not seeing any overloading on CPU, GPU, and RAM. They are all sitting at normal levels.
I have also down scan with Defender and system comes back clean for malaware and viruses.
I used a media installation to update to 23H2 (24H2 isn't available since I have easy anti cheat downloaded) and repair any corrupt files. Ran a disk check and more and everything comes back with no issues.
Yet the issue is getting worse.

My bios is updated to account for the incorrect voltage being sent to CPU.

Hardware Specs:
Motherboard - Gigaby Z790 Aorus Elite AX
CPU - I9-13900K
GPU - GeForce 4070ti
SSD - Samsung Pro 980 2Tb
RAM - Corsair DDR5 4800 (2x16Gb)

Any solutions? Open to trying anything

It's hard to say, but the main culprits would be the CPU, disk and RAM.

Possibly compounding degradation from the microcode issue?

#

Once the damage is set in it’s permanent

#

The micro code fix cannot change the physical damage that occurred before

Yeah

gl getting intel to honor their warranty

#

I have heard they are denying many requests

#

I hope they get slammed in a class action lawsuit

See if they can help

#

Upgrading like previously mentioned would cost you a ton of money

#

Also, this is just theory that it’s the CPU and not confirmed

So I fixed the issue. It was the microcode for the motherboard that was failing. Reset to factory and fixed the issue
