I recently dual booted my computer with linux. Windows 10 was installed before, running good for many years and just a few days ago I installed linux to an external ssd. I deactiveted the windows ssd while installing, to not get any problem causing boot managers on the windows ssd, everything went just fine, linux and windows both running without a problem, but on windows there is no the enhanced pointer acceleration enabled and I can't disable it. I know how to get to the settings with the old window to change it, but it has no effect. If someone knows whats going on, or a possible solution, i'd be very happy!

I did change the settings for enhanced pointer acceleration in linux, but i don''t see how that could have an effect on the windows settings.
you mentioned pointer acceleration on windows is enabled and you can't disable it
it's just a checkbox in main.cpl, is that not working?
What exactly do you mean?
this option, what about it doesn't work?
yes, this is what i ment with "the settings with the old window" and it doesnt work. i mean i could just be my mind playing a trick on me, but i am like 96% certain that it is not working
can you describe "not working" in more detail?
yes, the window works and the botton also "works" its just not changing the pointer acceleration
yeah idk, I've never seen that. have you looked on the internet to see if anyone had a similar problem?
