Basically, I would like to have a shortcut in which it automatically does the search for ". -kind:folder" without quotations, which basically displays all the files within the subfolders without all the folders present. I do not want to type ". -kind:folder" every single time I want to access the files of the dozens of folders, I just want to click a shortcut folder that automatically brings me to this search query. I did not find anything like this while searching for this problem online, which brings me here.

I did try creating a shortcut with "search-ms:displayname=Search%20Results%20in%20Speedruns&crumb=kind%3A<>folder&crumb=location:E%3A%5CVideos%5COrganized%20Videos%5CSpeedruns", but that does not work probably because it's not a proper folder.

Try this

search-ms:query=. -kind:folder&crumb=location:E:\Videos\Organized Videos\Speedruns

It does create a search query shortcut, except it seems to automatically go with search-ms:query=. and ignores the rest, meaning it searches for everything. If I add back the rest it fails again. I also tried to replace spaces with %20 but that doesn't work either.

Also check if the location is correct
